Nope, but we play our best football in the 4th quarter. The reason the Saints are 13-0 is because they know how to finish ball games.

But for some reason, the crazy things don't happen to us.

We are consistent, if nothing else.

They're called "crazy" because they don't happen often, and they don't have a high probability of happening. Between 1948 and 2007, the Cardinals won exactly one playoff game. I guess Dallas isn't the only "consistent" team.

It's not impossible for the Cowboys to get into the postseason and make some noise. Too many crazy turnarounds have happened in this league, especially in recent years, for me to believe it's not possible.

At this point, it doesn't look very likely. And I already admitted that I don't think we'll beat the Saints. But I know I'll be watching the game Saturday night and I know you will be too. And you wouldn't be watching if you thought success wasn't possible.

You'd be 12-1 if Suisham connects from 23 yards. Get off your high horse. You've had a few great escapes and you deserve credit for that, but you're kidding yourself if you think you're unbeatable.

Doesnt matter. I said before the Charger game while people were consumed by Folk and his holder drivel, the game would come down to Dallas secondary. I'll say it again there is no way this secondary is gonna come close to stopping Brees and the Saints in a prime time meaningful end of year game. If they cant stop Rivers at home when it counts, they wont stop Brees on the road when it counts.

I have got to agree with the point made here. This is an extremely important game for the Saints. New Orleans needs to lock up home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Saints last two games were on the road and facing teams that were looking at the game as their Super Bowl. In both games the Saints ran fairly vanilla offensive and defensive packages. They also rested several players in each off those games that could have played. This was the same approach taken in the games leading up to the Monday blowout of New England where New Orleans opened up the playbook.

All I see is 13-0.

No, the Saints are by no means unbeatable. No NFL team is unbeatable, but the 2009 Saints are good enough to do whatever it takes to win under less than favorable situations. A little luck never hurts. Both the Dolphins and Patriots had more than one lucky game in their undefeated run.

That said, there is only one important game on the Saints' minds ... the current one. And I assure you that they will be fully prepared, as will the fans. This is an extremely important game as long as home field advantage is still not in hand.

Several weeks ago I predicted a 9-7 season. I am sticking with that prediction and the next and only win we get this season is coming this Saturday. New Orleans has been squeaking by and it is going to come home to roost this weekend.

N.O. cannot stop our offense. We can stop them enough to win.

Dallas 45
NO 31

Book it!!!

LMAO! I needed some humor. To predict a win is one thing. But then to follow it up with us scoring more points then we have all year against an undefeated team. I think I just soiled my pants.:lmao: :(

There offense will be tough and without Ware it will be tough. Secondary needs to play way better than they did this week.

There defense though lets teams drive on them then they get a turnover. If Romo plays like he has been and Barber/Felix play great this game then we should worry about turnovers.

Overall don't give up turnovers and big plays and we can win this game

Oh yay. Another punk fan from another team who will come in here all week talking smack and being cute because there's a real good chance his team will win but if they lose he'll disappear without a trace once more.

Nothing like those fans who come to forums to talk smack only when things are going well for their team.

I assume you are referring to me. Nope. Not a punk fan at all. And I am not here to talk smack. Clearly, 75%, or better, of this board's membership expect a Saints win. I agree with them, of course, but I enjoy learning more about our opponents. Although, I am already extremely familiar with the Cowboys and their situation. I still enjoy hearing about it from the mouths, or fingers, of their fans.

I also feel I can help clear up any questions about the Saints.

The only things we have going for us is the following...

1. The Saints are starting to Plateu a little having almost wrapped up everything.

2. Their defense can be worked on.

3. The perfection stumble

4. Dallas "wanting it more"

My heart says we will win the mother of all DEC games in a twist of fate and run the table getting Philly back in the process.

My mind just doesn't know how we can match the Saints firepower.

My mind just doesn't know how we can match the Saints firepower.

1. The flatness to which you refer is related to recent injuries (uncontrollable) and vanilla play calling (intentional). The same situations existed in the games leading into the Monday night game versus the Patriots.

2. Yes, the Saints employ a defense that can be described as "bend, but don't break". While they will give up yardage between the 20's, they lead the NFL in red zone defense and takeaways.

3. The perfect stumble would have been against Washington or Atlanta on the road. This is an incredibly focused team at home.

4. There is no way Dallas wants this game more than the Saints. Their magic number for clinching home field advantage sits at two. New Orleans wants that home field in a worst way and will be opening their offensive and defensive playbooks back up for the first time since the New England game.

And I agree, I can't see Dallas matching the Saints offensively. It would take a perfect game, but I cannot imagine the Cowboys being the first opponent in 14 games to not turn the ball over to the Saints.

You hit the nail on the head.

This team has the ability to beat anyone and the disgrace to lose to anyone.
