Put that in 3-inch headlines folks.

Tired of you naysayers. The Cowboys are much better than you know. And the Giants are not as good likewise.

To those who believe, I commend your spirit and optimism. It's rightfully warranted.

Go ahead and take this win, Cowboys. It's yours!

Remember, 3-inch headlines!

I have no idea who will win. Throw all the tendencies, injuries, strengths/weaknesses etc. out the window. I see a 21-17 or 26-24 type game going either way. You gotta believe we beat this team at home at some point.

I have a good feeling about this game. Not sure why, but I do.

The Cowboys have a good shot at winning the game and putting themselves back on the NFL map. If they can win tomorrow and then win either against the Eagles or Falcons they will be in good shape. (Especially if they beat the Eagles.)

Good news:

I believe we will win the game too.

Bad news:

We will be like the Deadskins of last year. They swept the Giants last year and ended up in the last place in the division with a losing record.

Do you think the Cowboys are better this year than last? Because they were on win from winning the division...

I think that if the Cowboys can get their offense going they can be a very dangerous team and can win this division. Might be a long shot but it is entirely possible.

Romo had his best season last year. 31 TD with 10 Ints and 100+ QB rating. We went 8-8. He is not having a good season so far for whatever reason. I know our defense has been improved but our offense I think is worse than last year. Overall as a team, I don't a team that is better than last year.

Can they get better? Sure they could. I'm having doubts though. We've played 6 games already but I don't see the team getting better in key areas that they need to get better at. The whole team still looks lost and confused at times . Players and the coaches.

I think we are going to have another very average season (8-8).

I still have no feel for this game, usually I do by now. I have this bad feeling the defense has a real rough day but the offense wakes up yet might not be enough to overcome the def.

The way the Giants aren't talking much(excluding Bennett) makes me think they are 100% focused after the week 1 loss.

We better come to play from opening kickoff, if the boys start out slow and unfocused, it could be a long day. We need to get off to a fast start and score TD's early.

More of what????????????? Optimism???????? Listen, we've heard this stuff for years on this board and whats it done , Nothing.

It may look good and make you feel good to have people agree with you on the forum ,about being optimistic and all but all the Ra,Ra stuff means nothing

Lets face it, The Dallas cowboys are just another average Football team along with Oakland,T.B.,Detroit, Cin , Miami, and other mediocre teams that fill the NFL that can't make the playoffs.
The only difference is that we have been living on our past successes and on being the most popular NFL team with the public.

Optimism is all fine and good ,but sometimes you have to be realistic. I like the Cowboys as much as any of you ,but I have been disappointed for so long and so often that I just can't see any changes happening recently to improve what we've been doing.

We are just an Average football team and have been for years. I have my opinions of why ,but that's a subject for another day.

Go Cowboys:cool:

Yes you will win.

I bet all NY players will be thinking about the storm like all of us here in the Northeast. Giants will play flat.

This team has a real chance until we are mathematically eliminated. But this isn't the 90's Cowboys, and unfortunately, you aren't Jimmy Johnson :)

Whew, I feel a whole lot better about this team now.

If this were Jimmy Johnson making the prediction in the 90's, I'd agree.

Eventually we have to beat these *****s at home and tomorrow is a day as good as any to start it.

If we get constant moving of the chains and stay out of 3rd and longs i am confident as i have no doubt the G men will put up 21+pts so we will need more than that to win and i think we can do it.

Romo can take advantage of the Giants secondary as it is not that good, it is just their pass rush that will trouble him and the O-Line needs a great game and like many others it will be won in the trenches.

Cowboys 31 G Men 24.

If we beat the Giants, we will end the winless streak against them at home.

But more importantly, we will be undefeated in the NFC East and the Giants will be winless.

That can bury them by the time the season is over with us on top.

The truly pathetic thing is that I can see them actually winning this one and then losing to the Giants in the playoffs 47 to 13 or something.

I dont like the odds at all of beating them 3 straight in one year. 2 out of 3 will work for me as long as the last one we win is in the playoffs

Deja vu.

I did exactly this same thing before the season opener and turned out to be right.

Unfortunately, I will not be doing that again.

This game gives me the same vibe I got before the rematch at the end of last season and we all know how that turned out.

I hope I'm wrong.
