Just got back from vacation last night and see there's nothing but doom and gloom here.

Why?

We will likely finish with a 12 win season. Everyone in here would have taken that in July...and CERTAINLY in Sept when Dak got hurt.

Everyone in here has been wringing their hands hoping we could find a way to beat Philly next week....and now it appears they're going to take their foot off the gas against us and rest some of their players, so I can't imagine we will find a way to lose to Gardner Minshew (could we?) and whatever other backups they throw out there. Good for us... though only flipside is we can't really take any pride in the win (just like we all discounted their win against us with Cooper Rush...though in hindsight Dak likely wouldn't have been any better, and may have been worse).

Everyone in here is saying we will be one and done in the playoffs.... and that if Jax can beat us, and that the only way we escaped a loss to the Texans was them intentionally losing, and that the chances of us beating Brady in the playoffs is EXTREMELY low.... and yeah, I kinda agree with all that....but personally I'd rather just enjoy playing in the wildcard for what it is: one extra week of football that a lot of teams would be happy for, and then after we're out, we can finally just let this season go and enjoy the rest of the playoffs, and looking forward to a fresh start in September!

The Cowboys left on vacation after the first half against Jacksonville. hopefully they’ll return by Christmas Eve for the Philly game.

before a game was played this season this place stated we at best would be 7-10 because we had a terrible offseason, one of the worst in history,

then,
game 1 we lose ugly to the Bucs and Dak goes down....

this place said no way we could even win 4 games with Rush as a backup, no #1 wr, everyone sux and its OVER and stated the rumor Jerry was organically tanking by not restocking talent.

even some said the draft had 73 as a project and others taken were suspect and overrated. reach ios the word we heard A LOT!!!

Now we have Fans doing it again, saying we can not win a playoff game, its over saying we are supposed to have an endless amount of depth to cover up so many injuries at the same positions?

I was just being transparent on the limits of my imagination and not being able to envision them losing to a team not really trying that hard to win.

Now, the Eagles won't be TRYING to lose...like the Texans,..... which is unfortunate... but the won't be hitting us with their full might either. They'll hit us with a 60% strength, and force us to play a good game, but we won't have to beat their "A-Game" (or even their B-Game for that matter).

I'd like to think we could beat their C-Minus game though (at least I HOPE we could LOL)

Lot of traveling this time of year. Did u miss me or something? I have no idea who you are and don't recall you posting before (if you did, I guess it just wasn't that memorable), but going forward I'll give a heads up when I'm on vacation so you and my other followers will be informed. I may be leaving for another week starting the 23rd, and won't be posting.

I know we have many, many, MANY flaws.... and doubt I'll see another SuperBowl in my lifetime. So I could easily be all "we stand no chance at a SB until not just Jerruh is dead, but his son too, so what's the point of watching?" But that's just not me...and I'd rather enjoy Boys football for what it is: 17 games a year (occasionally 18), of fun with my fellow cowboy fans.
