guys, seriously, that's impressive.. if we were to make a list, those four guys would all rank in the top dozen players on our team.. the good news is that I believe Newman, Glenn and Ellis will be back soon.. losing Fergie is worrisome, no doubt.. let's just pray we don't have any more serious injuries to any star players, or any players wearing the star for that matter..

i know a lot of fans are upset that our D looked bad tonight.. but we were missing our shut down corner, our run-plugging NT and our 2nd best pass rusher.. kinda changes things.. when Newman and Ellis come back, especially Newman, we become a much, much better D.. i just seriously hope that Ratliff and Remi can fill the big void left by Ferguson..

tonight was good.. we are a very good team.. and we are 1-0 in our division..

I agree-under the Tuna years, it seemed like whenever we would get a major injury, our ENTIRE TEAM would collapse(i.e. Ellis last year, and Flo the year before).

So far this year-we've had OTHER GUYS step up-sure, our D suffered alot, but guys like Romo, TO, Barber, and Witten really stepped up their game.

I talked about this a couple of weeks ago with teams like NE and Indy-when they have major injuries, guys like Brady and Manning would really step up their intensity.

True, but we just wish we could have stopped the bleeding. There were only 4 punts total in the game.

It's just past Sunday now, but I'll give you a big AMEN.

Winning in the NFL is hard enough. Winning in spit of adversity is even harder. Dallas did it though.

This is good news. We stood toe-to-toe with a division foe who gave us their best shot, and ours was a little bit better. I'm psyched to see what we do against Miami next week. believe me folks, Miami was bad today. But we really need Newman back, because Green was on point for most of the game.

But hey, we're 1-0 in the division - division leaders. It's a good night.

I don't think Remi will be helping us because he's on the Falcons. ;)

But Bowen will do ok backing up Ratliff if we lose Fergie for a while I think.

Remi was cut by the Falcons.

Atl released Remi and we have already signed him back onto the 53 man roster.

Green looked good, but he has far fewer weapons to work with.

Newsflash folks - the giants have the second best WR tandem in the NFC East.

This was a good win, because it showed where we are and we still won.

The offense is fine against teams with bad secondaries; has serious muscle to cause injuries to those who stand in their way; has upside with some young players (couple plays by Spencer, and Reeves was ok when he didn't have to rely on Roy for help, nice move by Hurd, kicking by Folk, etc); and Romo and our OLine are for real. Garrett can put a game plan together too. Nice mix of runs and big time passes (20+ average is ridiculous). It was like watching someone play Madden.

The defense just isn't ready for good offenses (and luckily we have Miami - and Chicago - coming up). The lack of pressure reminded me of last year. Our blitzes were picked up for the most part. And our coverage was way too soft. Roy couldn't cover a man in a wheelchair. We should start taking Roy out on passing downs; it is absolutely embarrasing (he isn't a great tackler either). With Newman back, some of these problems will work themselves out. And I was happy we didn't have a ton of defensive penalties, but Wade has his work right there in front of him.

We needed a reality check. I am glad we survived it.

Strong.

I'm just glad there are a few Cowboys fans out there who can think clearly without being so ready to declare a national emergency because our defense gave up 35 points.

Just think of this guys, what would have happened to this team if Parcells and Zimmer were running it. Chances are we'd have given up even more points and more than likely lost this game.

At the end of the day, we won and they Giants lost. That's all that matters in my book.

Newman was so sure he was going to play tonight, I wonder why the plan changed. Did they ever say?

I wonder if it was to give him one more week, or a setback? I honestly don't know.

That teams with the bigger heart overcome adversity to win. Your point?
