Lamb, Gallup, Schultz, and Wilson are more than capable of filling that void on Sunday.

Besides, this should be a heavy Pollard/Zeke game anyways because of the opponent.

The defense and our run game was always going to be main factors in whether we win this game or not.

Yeah, the loss of Cooper for the next two stink, but the boat is not sinking. I believe Kellen Moore will 100% be able to game plan the heck out of this game and the rest will be up to our defense doing their jobs.

Reminder .. Do NOT post about COVID in this thread!

These guys are better than the Vikings.. and this QB aint Kirk Cousins who has taken over the title of Captain Checkdown from Teddy Bridgewater.

The Cowboys win both games. May not be easy, but few games are. There are great receivers to step up behind Coop. They will rise to the occasion

"We"? You forgot who you was rooting for this week?

He's just one guy though. Cedrick, Noah and Gallup gotta do their part too.
They will. I'm saying when the ball comes ceedee way he needs to beat the outside cb. He eats alot from the slot. I hope he does eat outside.........but I'm still not getting rid of Coop next year if Im Jerry.

Oh i'm not either. But it was never a question of getting rid of Lamb because of him. The question was can Gallup/Wilson give this team what Cooper can. I don't think so honestly.

Mahomes is our defenses problem. Mahomes doesn't go against Cooper.

If Parsons, Diggs, or one of our defensive play makers all of sudden became unavailable then it would be a problem, but Cooper being out won't effect the way our defense approaches this game.

Time for Lamb to step up and be the player he’s meant to be in Coopers absence.

Hopefully we keep Lamb in the slot and let him eat against the #3 corner anyway. If we move him outside then that will make him easier to double.. I don't know if Gallup is back to full strength yet to take that pressure off him .. his speed alongside Wilson and Turner's speed does give a stretch the field element though.. But neither of them works the intermediate space the way Coop does..

Games are not played in a vacuum. Not having Cooper is going to hamstring the offense at least a little. The question is how much and will it be enough to keep us from moving the ball consistently? If the Chiefs are smart they double Lamb if he's on the outside and challenge Gallup and Wilson to beat them. That's why I believe we should sub Ced in for Coop and leave Lamb in the slot.. where he will be much more difficult to double and can work the middle of the field against a #3 corner. If the offense doesn't hold up its end because of Cooper's absence it absolutely will impact the defense against Mahomes if for no other reason then they will have to face more snaps. I don't think that will happen but I'm not silly enough think it's not even possible. Hopefully both Gallup and Lamb have matured to the point where they can step up...

If Ceedee is what many think it shouldn't be an issue.

Yep.... according to many, Ceedee is the #1 so Cooper being gone really won't be an issue at all. Hopefully they are right. I am of the opinion that Amari stirs the drink offensively since he came to town but I've been wrong a lot.
