Probably, yes. Sh** happens. Cowboys lost. Maybe shouldn't have lost the second fumble, but that was the Saints favorite ref team. So, it is what it is.
Did we get out coached? Maybe--probably
Our D held them to 4 FG relatively penalty free
Our OL tried blocking 7 with almost no success
Coop cost us on penalties somewhat-though most calls tonight were iffy at best
BUT we win without FUMBLES........ No matter how bad it looked-- we still had the ball at the end to win
Zeke & Witten hold on to those balls and the outcome changes
After watching that game obviously a win would have been great and all but the playcalling going vanilla was so confusing and disheartening I don't think a win would have made me feel much better moving forward. Why did we completely get away from what has been working for us. I can live with losing bc of the drop or fumble here and there and etc. but the playcalling change that was frustrating.
I'd agree on that one.The zeke one was bs.
they were better on this day. Sometimes it happens. Ask the Rams.Lets not fool ourselvs... fumbles are also part of the game. Just like the Dolphins fumbled in the 4 yard line.... we got defeateda by a better team
Did you change the title of this thread?
Harris had good game Nearly 40 yards on a punt return, Saint's started nearly at the 40 after a punt. Our ST let us down as well.
those fumbles, specially the one by Witten was very costly. in a close low scoring game like this, every opportunity is important. Dak missed Cobb twice, once in the end zone and once in converting a first down. witten fumble. zeke fumble (some say he was down, but regardless, he should have protected the ball and don't leave it to chance)… we had some missed opportunities. but to your point, their plan was to bring pressure and take the deep ball away. I was disappointed in our OL and protection, as Dak was under pressure and flushed a lot...I wanted to see more protection, perhaps with a FB and Zeke protecting Dak and giving him more time. Cooper had a bad game too.Did we get out coached? Maybe--probably

The reality is neither team played well, but Cowboys had multiple flags as well to go with the fumbles.right .
saints had 1 interception and multiple flags .
how does that work ?
that doesn't affect the saints ?
