Weather forecast in Green Bay

As of today (Tuesday), the weather forecast for Sunday 11/15/09 in Green Bay calls for showers, with a high of 46 degrees and a low of 37. At least it won't be freezing, but Green Bay can be a tough place to play weather-wise.

Right now, Green Bay is struggling offensively, mainly because they can't pass protect. But a rain-game favors the running game and usually forces it from both teams. So the rain may actually be working towards Green Bay's favor, not because their running game is anything to worry about, but because they've got a better chance of winning in a lower-scoring, running-back heavy game.

That doesn't mean I don't expect Dallas to win; I do, but I'm not anticipating a blowout. If we get a win and stay injury free coming off a slick filed I'll be happy.

We will march onto enemy grounds, in the harshest of conditions, and dismantle them. It's what this team will do from now on.

No matter where the place, no one is going to want to play the Dallas Cowboys.

Dallas can run, can Green Bay? Ironic that the frozen tundra could benefit Dallas.

GB has only had one game this year where a back has rushed for 100yds.

Exactly, Green Bay cant run worth crap.

If the weather is bad, that favors Dallas because the only chance in hell that Green Bay has is to air it out and hope Dallas blows numerous coverages. If the weather is bad and passing the ball is difficult, then Green Bay has no chance.

No one exactly fears Ryan Grant.

Green Bay has struggled to run the football against good defensive teams.

That weather is ideal for our offense. Not to mention that this is comfortable weather.

HMMMMM well if its bad weather like that, 2 things come tp mind;
we have to remind players if on a blocked field goal for all players to get away from the ball if we block it like the Leon Lett goof in dallas one year

2nd with bad weather, generally you cant throw, so its mainly run football weather, the packers are said to have a bad running game, but we have Barber to bang it and felix to run around players and choice to use on wildcat formations etc, with our 2 big huge TE's to throw short passing game due to the weather, time to get that all geared up for this game;

Turnovers in a rain game are my biggest concern. I'm not so worried about Barber or Choice, but I can see Felix Jones trying to make something out of nothing, cutting fast, slipping on the grass, loing his footing, and alo the balll.

I'm also worried about Nick Folk's FG kicks. He's been shaky on thise, and those are harder to kick on grass, especailly on a wet field.

Am I being too paranoid? :doh:

It will be a home coming game for Romo 1st time since he has became the starting QB to go back (close to his home town) home to play.

Dallas played GB in Dallas not Green Bay
That was in '07 and we'll probably play them again next year.

We sacked Erin Rodgers 5 times last year. I predict 10 this week.
