Were making the drive over to Tampa as we speak and it is pouring. It looks like mini hurricane. I'm about 2 hrs away, but my friend just texted me who's already there and said it's terrible over there. I just checked sunday's forecast and the rain chance is 50 percent. So those attending need to invest in some raingear. Hopefully it rains after the game.

Fear not. Just feed the ball to Barber and Felix and let them run free. :starspin

That is nonsense. Romo has only played in one game where there was rain. He did have a terrible game, but there is no real indication of what caused the bad game.

50% chance of rain is standard for this time of year. Rain has tended to be later in the day the last couple of weeks.

It's been raining pretty good in Dallas this week, and the Cowboys no longer have an indoor practice facility. So they got some good practice this week, in the rain.

it might rain...it might not rain...its what you get this time of yr in the southeast

and even if it does rain, the chance that it would be a total washout is pretty slim...

LOL gotta love Florida weather...
The humidity listed isn't that bad, it's in the same range as Dallas at that time.(actually a little lower than Dallas)

If our team cant win the game with some rain coming down id be pretty worried, im sure there are going to be other, greater complications before the seasons over that they are going to have to deal with. With that being said i have no doubt romo is going to shine............rain or shine

Soggy Conditions A Possibility For Opener

We've been talking about the heat in Tampa for what seems like months now, and come to find out it may rain. That'll cool off the Cowboys.

Weather.com predicts scattered thunderstorms in the Tampa Bar area for Sunday, with a 40 percent chance of rain. The high is expected to be 88 degrees, with a low of 77.

The Cowboys did get a look at wet weather during practice Friday, a first since they returned from the Alamodome. While the rain had subsided by the first whistle of the day, the practice fields were still pretty moist.

Wade Phillips says the weather won't be an issue.

"We do wet ball stuff anyway in the preseason," the coach said. "We haven't played much in the wet weather since I've been here, and we probably won't play too many.

"Most of the time teams can execute in the rain."

I think this offense is much more bad weather friendly this year. We will be much more running and short pass oriented.
