Wednesday practice report

FP? Ah, full practice for Diggs.

What's up with Smiths neck? stinger?

Diggs, FP, DLaw, Tyron DNP. These are the only 3 listed. Of course our other key players on IR though.

Browns have a long list of DNP & LP. Including Cowboys Dak killer Adrian Clayborn as DNP
CB Ward also as DNP.

That could be huge for their secondary if Ward is out.
This could be that game that Dak and this WR deep core can outscore and win.
Its really our only team strength, not excluding Zeke,, by himself.

The offense is moving the ball well, but we need a better conversion rate of yards to touchdowns, which has been the case for some time. It's better than in years past, but there's still room for improvement.

Have the 3rd worst starting field position again this year.
Long as that occurs and teams play bend but don't break on us this trend will continue.

That's a good point too.

But I'm also referring to this number specifically:

9th is nice, but it needs to be better.

And sheesh! Will you look at Seattle! It's no wonder they're undefeated.
oh yea saw that coming in. every pass Russ throws seems to go for a TD, lol.
it's weird but with analytics nerds saying you gotta pass every down you will see a lot more cowboys type numbers than SEA.

those analytics kids never heard the one about the old bull talking to the young bull....

Cleveland is up there, dang, the D better have improved.

But look at the Jaguars, Texans, Vikings all in the top 6. with 1-2, 0-3, 0-3 records.

And trainwreck defenses. At least I'm sure the Vikings do.

I think some of those Browns players are just afraid to play us:laugh:

Go get em Dallas :flagwave:

We still have the problem of NEVER having a short field per decent kick return or turnover.

Definitely related.

Been watching the Vikes games a bit.

Wow they look terrible overall. That's a team we need to be better than.

Zimmer screwed them by getting rid of Edwards so Zim’s son could take over. It’s all his fault.

Wow I missed that one.

Looks like Zimmer learned from the Jerry Jones school of how to surround yourself w the right people lol.

It's got way more to do with the fact that the Vikings just don't have much talent at impact positions.
