They play Tenn in Tenn, so in a way less pressure than a home game would be for weeden.
He hasnt won a game in good while.
Last game was a relief win, so he didnt get credit for the win.
I would like to see the game , but it is on same time as Cowboy game.

He has it easier than Moore who will play Buffalo in Buffalo.
I didnt care for Weeden, but I cant help but root for him a little to do good.

Plus not a Texan fan, but they may very well make the playoffs, if so will root for them, even though
they will probably lose first game.

They had QB issues , and never gave up, and won enough in the other bad div to get in 1st place
so kudos to them for not giving up.

However if they were smart they would have grabbed kellen when he was cut or on practice squad
few weeks back.

So I think weeden has a good shot to win, if he can play good enough, and this could change his
future one way or the other.

The Titans are the worst team

It might change his future for the people that don't watch the games, but unless he puts together a 250+ yard 2td performance against the worst team in the NFL, it's not going to change much.

The Texans defense will win this game by themselves.

He doesn't get credit?

I would think that you get more credit when you didn't start, coming in with your team already behind.

I realize he doesn't get credit for a start but I don't see what that has to do with the results. Who officially gets credit for a victory? I Really don't see. Any statistical relevance in some arbitrary designation like percentage of plays or margin at the time of the change in starters, who started, who finished. Actually, it could be who finished because teams bring in a backup in a rout.

Well I read that the QB who starts the game is the one who gets credit for the win or loss.
It was 0-10 when weeden came in so he did win the game.

There isn't anything that is going to happen on Sunday that will change Weeden's future. He' a career backup at best now and will be the same Monday morning.

if he plays bad or real good, it will affect it.

A career isn't over until its over. Jim Plunket with the Patriots, Trent Dilfer and Doug Williams with the Bucs...they were terrible.

Each of them ended up on different teams in the last couple years of their careers, each of them earning at least one Super Bowl ring.

It's all about the right circumstances at the right time.

Bret Favre was a backup in Atlanta. Steve Young was supposed to be a Buc. Suppose Aaron Rogers hadn't slid. What if Drew Breea didn't sign with the saints?

Imagine Room being thrown out there in 2003 instead of 2006.

Doug Williams is somewhat of a bad example. He took the Bucs to the playoffs three times, including the NFC championship game. He went to the USFL because the Bucs seriously lowballed him then to the Commanders when the league folded.
