He pretty much makes the same money no matter what he signs for: he has around $2M guaranteed still to come from the Browns. His contract with the Cowboys gets subtracted from the money the Browns owe him.

Not sure, seems low. I was expecting at least 2m over the 2 years. I'm guessing they hyped up the Josh McCown situation hardcore, and pitched that if Weedon continues to improve and gets an opportunity he could get an immense contract that way.

Keep in mind we signed Kyle Orton to a 3yr, 10.5m contract with 5m guaranteed (we also have a club option for '15 and '16 at 4.62m each) - this is a big difference. I'd take Weedon as the backup at the minimum over Orton at 4.4m this season.
