Is it out yet? Wanna see if we're on nationally.

Cowboys/Niners, I think its pretty safe to say that one will be on national tv

There's no way the 9ers game won't be nationally televised.

With our schedule I'm darn tempted to cancel my Sunday ticket for the first time in 15 years. Or I can just threaten to quit DTV and they'll give it to me free.:p

Fox's hype for this one will start at least a month in advance, and I'm down with that!!!

I just looked at the week 1 schedule and there are only 2 games on during the 4:25pm EST time slot: Carolina at Tampa Bay, and San Fran at Dallas. I'm preeeeeeety sure we'll be on nationally, or like 95% of the nation.

In fact, call DTV if you are really ready to quit them. They are good. They sense your intention from your voice. If they don't give Sunday Ticket for free, switch to Verizon and go with RedZone channel. It is the next best thing.

With all due respect, in fifteen years I have threatened to quit them many times and have always been "bribed" to stay. Try voice lessons.:D

I tried that last year, and they didn't care. Then after I cancelled everything, they tried a month later to give it to me for free, IF I signed a 2 year deal on a cable package. I had it since 1997.
I told them they were idiots and don't bother me again.
But now AT&T bought them out, I wonder how that will effect it's future. I believe this is the last year of the DTV / NFL deal. But the merger was also contingent that DTV retains the NFL ST package.

So being a season ticket holder, AT&T stadium, I wonder if season ticket holders may get a special offer....LOL

Yeah, you always have to threaten to quit in a month, then the retention dept calls in a couple days and starts negotiating. Yes they'll want you to agree to a 2 year deal, but after all it's a verbal agreement and it could be your kid they're taking to. These people give away stuff everyday that their current customers pay dearly for, "like free football to new subscribers", so yes I go after everything I can get. Besides with 7 tv's and all the movie and sports stuff you wouldn't believe what they suck out of me every month.

Let's see:

1) opening day (weekend)
2) America's team
3) Super Bowl contender in the game
4) San Fran is there too

yes, it will be televised nationally

100 percent it will be the national game, unless you live in carolina or the tampa area you will get the game.
