Sanchez actually is a hell of alot more accurate during pressure scenarios. He plays his best during those times.

Sanchez is awful most of the time in the 1st quarter, or entire 1st half. The 2nd he gets things going.

Being accurate on a deep pass on the run, and having a "safety" dump man are two different things. I may be wrong....

I got the feeling that more of their fans were on the fence than in front of it. Will definitely be an interesting game. I got a laugh at the one guy who feels that Brick will man handle Ware, no problem!!!

The wildcard is Sanchez. In week one last year (also a night game), he was 10 of 21 for 74 yards vs the Ravens. If they had a more seasoned QB, I'd favor them heavily.

Here is the Jets offense scoring by week for last year.

With the exception of 4 games I'd say their offense was not bad at all.

I got a good laugh from that one as well. Seemed the poor guy had everything backwards.

I just played the Jets in franchise mode on Madden 12. I won 6-0. Sacked them once, 3 INTs, -5 rushing yards and 49 total yards. I rushed for 139 and passed for 120 with no INTs and one fumble that I also recovered. Yep, my offense needs some work, but my defense rocks! :laugh2:

The Romo comments were interesting.

It shows just how easy it is for players to be branded in a certain manner. You have fans on a NFL teams forum, so theoretically they are more than a casual fan, who have heard chatter from the talking heads of sports journalism claiming that Romo is a choker who doesn't like to be hit. One claiming that it has been proven beyond question.

No wonder a lot of players claim to never read the papers, or watch sports programming.

I was amused by that comment as well. However, overall, their analysis was quite even-handed and well-informed. Not the homeristic bluster to which message boards are prone.

yeah i mentioned that earlier. no way you ask ur best pass rusher to negate himself against brick. id also line him up at ILB over slauson a few plays.

Ware is someone who Brick can take on and win against, and he's usually on the right side most of the game.

I like our O-Line now over last years.

Our secondary is what worries me the most but they have Sanchez so I'm not all that worried lol. At least we have upgraded a little at safety.

Witten should have a big game; and finally we have Romo back.

It will be a close game, we were competitive every game under Garrett last year even without Romo and Dez.

The Jets game is winnable; it's a game that we could be very competitive in, or it's a game that could go down hill very quickly if their defense batters Romo and causes turnovers.

We don't have to win this game, but we must avoid it becoming a defining game in the negative sense.

....IS VERY TRUE. But our run defense will struggle too....Jets will run at will. We will lose this game by 10+.
