Week 10: Cowboys @ Eagles game video here.

Thanks to cal and Dboys. I posted the torrent link over at the ranch also so hopefully we should get a bunch of seeders.

I tried downloading this file, too, but it is taking forever! Megaupload must be using the worlds oldest server....

The video of the final four minutes alone still is more than 50 MB, so it does take a while.

Even with my high speed connection, it took almost 3 hours to get to the 88% mark, and this it just froze up...maybe all the bandwidth was eaten up, I guess, but usually a 50MB file doesn't take that long to download,

Thanks Guys for posting the game. This is the only way i can watch games since hurricane Wilma. Directv is taking their sweet time in reinstalling my dish.

Thanks again.

I went into the Cowboys-Eagles video download thread, and several people were talking about 'seeding' the download. How do you do that, & what purpose does it serve? I know this isn't directly about the 'Boys, but it may help some of us that aren't quite as familiar with downloading video.
Also, what are some of the best downloading sites?

Basically its a file sharing utility using the bittorrent software. www.bittorrent.com

While your downloading, your feeding off someone else's completed or in progress download (hence feeders and seeders), and if you keep the file up after the download is completed then you seed for others to use. You have to have the free software first to download.

your torrent client will automatically seed a file after youve downloaded it. It remains seeded until you shut down your client or it falls down your priority list. The general rule of thumb is to seed a file youve downloaded until your share ratio is 1.0 or (up) = (down)

seeding is simply sharing the full copy of whatever youve downloaded.

and by the way, you asked about best downloading sites, this particular torrent search engine is one of the best around. you can pretty much find anything youre looking for.
