Oh well, even if it was on Fox I still would of gotten the Tampa Bay game.

Well, thanks to the SNF flex, I will no longer be able to watch the Cowboys in the Houston broadcast area as they are scheduled on CBS at the same time as the Texans....oh well....guess I'll use my niece's NFL ticket sign on again! LOL

See who ya got.
Everyone west of the Mississippi River getting SF - Dallas as of today. And a few east coast spots.
Puzzling. I know- the NFL's "cross-flex" policy has been in effect for over half a decade (started during the 2014 season); but why would CBS subject AFC fans in over half the country to an NFC matchup between two losing teams, while the other four games airing simultaneously feature an AFC team in the hunt for a playoff spot\ positioning?
And...the east coast spots getting the Niners-Cowboys tilt? Why, it's the cities and metro areas that home to the Dallas' division rivals.

I think since the game flexed into SNF was originally to be on CBS, they get the game flexed out for it.
As to why the entire West getting the game, my only reasoning is there are no other early games for better viewing. As most of CA would have got the SF Dallas game anyway. just a guess.

'jazzcat22' - the 49ers-Cowboys game was part of the originally scheduled Sunday Night Football lineup for the 2020 season on NBC --it was not "flexed in". And -- as I stated in my intial post- there are four games involving AFC teams vying for the playoffs --that is way 'better viewing ' than two NFC teams going nowhere.

I think what @jazzcat22 was saying was that because the browns at giant game that was flexed into SNF and CBS lost that game so they got the 49er's at Cowboys game to make up for it. He wasn't saying the Cowboys were flexed into SNF.
