Can we have this thread...I mean some think "rooting" for or against certain teams serve no purpose....:muttley:....

However, instead of rooting for teams or against them...this is what needs to happen....

We must win of course as usual. Beating Oakland will be tough on the road, but doable.

Bears over Lions, that game is on Saturday.
Rams over Seahawks
TB over Atlanta, Monday night.

Wouldn't hurt if Jets beat the Saints. Because even if they lose 2 of 3, but 2 of those need to be against NFC teams though. We can get in over them. But I doubt they lose their last 3 games.

Carolina over GB. Or would it be all that bad if GB wins, then next week they lose to the Vikings. But I think I rather GB lose now, and get them out of the way.

If GB and Detroit can lose, we win. Would be great. But we really need that Falcons loss.

That Carolina/GB game is hard to pick. While it would be nice to get GB out of the way, they do have Minnesota after that. And it would be nice to have the week 17 Atl/Car game being able to go either way.

I've seen some say the Rams/Seattle game is important, but is it? Even is Seattle wins, we'd control our destiny over them by beating them. I don't know all the tiebreakers beyond that if there are multiple teams at 10-6, so maybe that's why we need the Rams to win?

Seattle is not the problem. Dallas controls that scenario.

Atlanta is the biggest issue. Along with the return of Rodgers. Detroit should do their part for Dallas.

The issue is the Rams and the possibility of them falling to 10-6. It's not likely, but it is there.

The Panthers/Packers game is not had to pick at all contrary to what many here are saying. With 3 games left to play, we need the Panthers to lose 2 games and the Packers to lose 1 game. So we need the Panthers to lose sooner and the Packers to lose later. This is very doable with the Packers playing the Vikings the following week. We need the Packers to beat the Panthers this weekend, folks.
