Just for kicks. All of our rooting interests are pretty obvious this week.

The no-brainers:
DAL over PIT
ATL over NYG
CLE over WAS

The other important ones:
GB over CHI
STL over MIN
BUF over SEA

The ones that probably don't matter:
NE over SF
NO over TB

Also:
PHI over CIN (don't want Philly with too good a draft pick)

meh on phi versus cin. If cin lose and we lose, that means that the steelers are more likely to make the playoffs. If both cin and we win, then the steelers are more likely to miss the playoff. Compared to phi higher draft pick versus steelers having a better chance of making the playoffs, I'll go with phi higher draft pick. Steelers are dangerous in the playoffs and lets not forget the reffing in their games...

We want Tampa Bay to win. If we don't win the division, we might need to have Tampa Bay in a three-team tiebreaker with us and another team (such as Seattle or Chicago).

yep. We are already a game up on Tampa, and own the head to head tie breaker.

plus a saints loss would mathematically eliminate them from playoff contention right as they travel to Dallas.

The Sean Payton fans or Garrett detractors should root for the Steelers... I am hoping we win out, Garrett builds off of this & who knows where he & the players take us.

If NO is out of it then they may let down on their game in Dallas. I guess the tiebreaker with TB means more.

Whoops, good point.

If Phi wins tonight it may give them some confidence/momentum going into the divisional games.

The good thing about this is all the games of importance for us will be over by time our game starts. So we will know what is in front of us before we take the field.

A case could me made for wanting Seattle to win the West. And why do we want GB to beat Chicago? Chicago has a tiebreaker on us. Don't we want Chicago to win the North?

The Bears have 5 losses already, while the Packers only have 4.. Bears have to play @ home VS GB, then on the road to end the season @ Detroit.. You could easily see them finishing 9-7. This rooting thread is silly.. I promise you if the Cowboys win out and finish 10-6, they will be in the playoffs

if the giants loses one game.

Because the Bears are banged up, and honestly just not that good of a team. If they lose to GB and win, we're tied with them. Granted they have the tie breaker, we'd still be tied, and at that point would need just another game to over take them. Or if a 3rd team would force their way into a tie breaker, the head 2 head would be negated as long as they 2nd team didn't beat us as well, like the Seahawks for instance.

I believe Philly will not win another game. What a way for Reid to end his time there...
