Week 17 : Giants week

This is a big week and a big game.

There are already discussions on the different playoff scenarios and best match-up possibilities but this week and this game is very important as the Cowboys get ready for the playoffs.

I like what I've heard so far about playing everyone that is healthy. There are maybe a few guys who I could understand sitting. Tyron, Martin, maybe Zeke to name those few but in no way should they treat this like a mini bye week. Let's play to win and finish strong and take that momentum back home for the playoff game.

You know the Giants are going to be ready for their last home game and with Dallas coming to town they are going to really look to finish strong. They have been better as the season has gone along and almost beat the Colts on the road today.

And plus if the cowboys lose cowboyszone would be unbearable the week leading up to the playoff game...

and no one wants that.

This team needs all the reps it can get. To go out with a win, and get some consistency going.

Play the starters at least the forst half or so. Anyone banged up a bit though rest.

We are playing the Seahawks in the WC game. That's where the focus should be.

In no way do I think looking forward to the playoff game and minimizing the upcoming game is a good idea. You tell me why it's not a big game.

If you believe that coming out flat or unprepared or unmotivated or whatever is okay as they go into the playoffs then you have more faith in this team than I do. There were obvious problems with the offense last week and some of those issues surfaced again today...to overlook next week as an opportunity to improve is stupid.

Our first round playoff opponent is already set.

CZ is going to be a hot mess if the cowboys lose to the Seahawks wildcard weekend. And it will be a hot mess all off-season long.

Why exactly is this a big game?

Yeah I don't know how this is a big game. I'm for taking it serious and trying to get some momentum going into the playoffs but if they sat the starters.....I wouldn't be surprised or even care.

The game means nothing. It is a good opportunity to tweak the offense for a half, work on redzone, get in the weekly reps then start resting people after halftime and come out of the game with no injuries.

Do you remember the last time Garrett rest the starters right before the playoffs. Sorry but they haven't achieved anything to be taking a week off. Not only that Garrett teams always struggle after a bye. I bet you Brady will play like they always do, going strong into the playoffs.

Dak seemed to find some chemistry with Gallup and they need to build on it.

Get back consistency? This is such a myth. There is nothing to be gained by going all out next Sunday. If they play a quarter or a half. Fine I guess but just get ready for the playoffs. Who gives a crap about this game on Sunday. I don't care if they score 35 points or get shutout. It won't make a bit of difference when the playoffs start.

You guys are both right. This team isnt ready but we can't risk injuries in this game either. Same time more reps this game isnt going to change much. Better to rest tbh.
