Week 17 Win

If we finished 8-8 we would be picking 15 or 16 (not sure the tiebreaker with the Cards). So what player that you really want do you think we will lose out on because of a meaningless win? Another could be we would be closer to trade up for certain players.

I think 1 of Smith, Edmunds, James, or Fitzpatrick will be around there or within reach with a small trade up.

I agree if I am JG I don’t tell them to lose but we sure wouldn’t have seen EE or Dak. Only time a tie would of been better than a win.

I don’t think anyone is whining just looking at what that win cost us in the draft.

Don't think any of them would be there. James will probably go to the Bucs, Smith and Edmunds will go to Niners, Raiders, or Dolphins. Fitzpatrick would probably go to one of those teams also.

It wouldn’t have been losing on purpose if we sat out most of our starters, like Philly, and stated we want to check out our young players, including our backup QB. No reason to risk injury to starters in a meaningless game. What if Lee or Lawrence had torn up their ACL and wasn’t ready for this season. I bet if Belicheat was in our situation( though he never would be, because he’s Belicheat )he would have played all backups and not game planned for the game.

Your telling fans, including yourself, to get a life, who spend way to much of their life posting or reading post on this site. WE ALL NEED TO GET A LIFE! That being said, we should have played all backups in that stupid meaningless last game vs Philly. I think we are going to lose out on Payne because of that BIG Garrett win vs Philly’s backups.

When I think how often the best players end up getting drafted exactly in descending order of productivity each year, I just get madder and madder! I feel like stomping my feet or something. I mean, I pay good money for the tickets. The way I see it, Jerry owes it to us to do whatever popular consensus says he should do.

I’m not buying another anything until we get a new nose tackle.

You might get another 3 playing the nose but don’t hold your breath for a true NT.

It would cost us a 3rd to move up from 15-10, that's a top 80 pick you would have been givng up a potential starter, whilst we can grab a top 10 player to play at 1 position, it would weaken us in another position by giving up that 3rd, (Claiborne or Lawrence trade cost us a 3rd) Yes James would be a good player, but it would mean losing out on a player such as a Billy Price, DJ Chark or a Mark Andrews.
