Week 2 Broadcast Maps

Whaaaaat. Is there a reason why the Dallas market (where I currently live) is showing the Patriots at Jets over the Texans at Commanders? The Texans at Commanders seems like a much better and more logical game to show (in-state rival vs a divisional rival). Hopefully CBS 11 changes it.

It's league rules to not show the game opposite the home team game.

Cowboys play at noon and the Texans at Commanders game is on at 3:15 (central times of course), so there is no conflict in time slots.

You're right. Maybe it's just payback for what the Houston stations have done to Cowboys fans for years.

And the Texans as "in-state" rivals... LOL.

I know I'd rather see Jets-Patriots. Those are better teams.

Only in the minds of delusional Houston fans... lol

Ugh. I get the Cardinals. Wow, I'm so excited. I hate the Cardinals and every bandwagon fan I come across.

The Cowboys are always shown in Houston, unless they are going against the time a divisional opponent plays. And yes, in-state rival. Not saying they are a true rivalry there, though. There has been enough Texans talk around DFW after their performance on Sunday, that I was hoping the game would be shown. What makes you want to see Patriots at Jets, especially after the Jets' horrible performance on Monday? Mark Sanchez looks like a mix between David Carr and Matt Leinart.

Not in Nashville, Falcons/Cardinals is blocked out b/c it's a home game for the Titans at the same time. They are shown in Eastern TN; whereas Western Tn is showing the Dallas game.

Come on down and bring the pooch with you :D
