As promised, I will update the offensive stats after all the games have been played for that weekend.

OFFENSIVE RANK BY YARDS................4TH IN NFL (395 per game)

OFFENSIVE RANK BY POINTS..............26TH IN NFL (13.5 per game)

*****DEZ'S PUNT RETURN IS INCLUDED IN THIS NUMBER BY NFL.COM****

OFF RANK (minus special teams TD).....TIED FOR 30TH IN NFL (10 per game)

So without Dez's punt return being included in points scored, we are tied with the Ravens for 30th in the league with 10 points per game (7 week one + 13 for week two).

Minus special teams score, current disparity between yards and points....

30th - 4th place = 26 PLACES

Last Year disparity = 17 scoring - 2nd in yards = 15 PLACES

So what does this all mean??? It means our disparity between yards and points has gone from 15 last year to 26 this year, our problem has gotten worse from last year, not better!!!! Stay tuned for week 3 numbers next Monday night, we will see if the disparity starts to close any.

We were 14th in scoring last yr, not 17th.

And all teams defensive and special teams tds count in a teams total, not just Dez Bryant's.

I hear you...but he is grading Garrett. I guess you have to take away Craytons 2 punt return TDs last year to make it an even comparison.

Dude, I listed the rankings both ways, one rank including the return and one rank without the return. That way posters can see how our offense ranks both ways.

I clearly labeled each ranking so there would be no confusion, but of course a Garrett apologist comes out of the woodwork to complain.

From now on, I will only list the rankings in aggregate so there will not be anymore complaining that I am somehow being unfair to poor Garrett.

Did you take out the punt return scores for the other teams when ranking? That would make it a level playing field for all teams. Really no reason to dispute the rankings if you did.

at the end of the day...I don't care where we rank. We have ONE......ONE...TD in each game. Nothing else really to say!

Like I said, both are listed.

Aggregate ranking is 26th in points, 4th in yardage.

But to clarify, did you take out all returns for the other teams to make an apples to apples comparison? In your original statement of “OFF RANK (minus special teams TD)”, using “TD” instead of “TDs” would indicate that only the Dallas special teams TD is considered in your analysis. If you did, then no one should have any reason to knock them, because they are black and white.

Dude, forget the punt return ranking if you think it is unfair.

We are 26th in scoring and 4th in yardage.....go to nfl.com if you dont belive me.

WE HAVE SCORED 1 OFFENSIVE TD PER GAME!!!!!

I'm not judging fair vs. unfair, it was a question that you did not clarify then or now. I actually started off trying to defend your position. If you took out all kick-return touchdowns for all teams, then DBair really has no reason to knock your stats.

I don't need stats to know his 2nd game grade. D as in dummy call the right plays!

it suggests an incredibly small sample. 1 good game takes you from 26 to 15
