Week 5: Dallas Cowboys (2007)
There are 12 weeks between now and the start of the 2007 Buffalo Bills Season. Once a week we will be previewing each game.
Date: Monday October 8th, 2007
Time: 8:30 pm TV: ESPN, ABC(Local) RADIO: 97 Rock, The Edge, ESPN RADIO
Location: Ralph Wilson Stadium (Orchard Park, NY)
All time series allas 3-6
Last Meeting: 2003 @ DAL— DAL 10-6
Jets Key Additions: QB Brad Johnson, Coach Wade Phillips, OT Leonard Davis
Jets Key Losses: QB Drew Bledsoe, Coach Bill Parcells,
Breakdown: Much like the Jets from last week, the Cowboys come into ‘07 pretty much with the same team they left ‘06 with. QB Tony Romo will enter his first season as a full-time starter and hopes to have another pro bowl campaign. The offensive unit should continue to produce with players like Terry Glenn, Jason Witten, and the always Monday night happy Terrell Owen. The running back position seems to finally be solidified with Marion Barber and Julius Jones sharing the load. The only real major change was at coach with the departure of Bill Parcells and the enterance of former Bills head man Wade Phillips. Phillips has always been regarded as a good coach who has yet to find the perfect fit which should finally come to him in Dallas.
As far as the Bills go they will be in a great atmosphere with the Monday Night home crowd. Look for this to give them the right amount of moment to come out of it with the victory
Prediction: 17-10 Buffalo
