Probably a waste of time doing this
As does anyone still think we can win this lousy division
But here it goes

We must win, beating the Jaguars may give some confidence back to the fans since they are a good team with a winning record. Though they will be without Fournette. Many however, will remain skeptical if we win, and I do not blame them.

Anyway, we win, get to 3-3, at worst we will stay 1/2 game behind Washington. I won’t take their loss against the Saints that they are total trash. But they have the Panthers at home this week. Eagles at Giants Thursday night.
So if all goes right, we could be in 1st by 1/2 a game. And if that happens, I will not be excited about it. I will still be in a wait and see mode.

Other games in the NFC, which may not mean anything, as no team from the NFCE is competing for one of the 2 WC spots. Not at this point.

Falcons over Buccs, Dolphins over Bears. However, if Bears win and lead that division, it doesn’t matter. As it keeps them ahead of GB and Vikings. As long as Cards beat the Vikings too.
Raiders over Seahawks, Broncos over Rams, both doubtful that happens.
49ers over GB, doubt that too.
Lions, Saints have byes.

This reminds me of the game last season when we beat a Chiefs team when we were not performing well to start the season. Romo also announced that game.

Coincidence? Just kidding. We will be dominated.

I see us keeping it close and we have played better at home so I think we have a shot at winning actually.

Not betting on it though lol

This loss will be close.

I really don't care anymore. I'm still fan, but sometimes letting things crash and burn is best for the future, kind of like a parent allowing a drug addicted child to hit bottom before he's FINALLY ready to change his life.

I want this team to crash because I just don't see it ever being rectified with the present leadership. And since that involves Jerry and he's not going anywhere, my only hope is that Jason Garrett gets fired. But not until we totally bomb. This season. Then maybe we hire a young, innovative coach who sees the dysfunction, cleans house like Jimmy Johnson did, leads this team to a 1-15 season but does enough to instill promise and hope.
Then we get the first pick in the draft next year (2020) and take TUA TAGOVAILOA who is a transcendent talent. And maybe, just maybe, we will right this ship.

And, yes, I am a fan. But fandom doesn't mean continuing to support dysfunction. You can love someone in your family but know they have to hit rock bottom before they come to their senses and turn from their corrupting ways. You don't continue to enable them thinking that's love. It's not.

So if the Jags beat us, it will be another nail in Garrett's coaching coffin. But don't get rid of him just yet. He has more losing to do for us before it gets better. I'm looking at positioning not Pyrrhic victories.

Hope Giants win, and Eli has a good game cuz:
Helps us move closer to the no. 1 pick in the draft for a QB, & hopefully convinces the Giants front office (Gettlemen, the GM) that they need not draft a QB in the 1st round.

I don't care????? Forget that, I CARE AND proudly care a lot. Damn people the season is a marathon, not a sprint. You only as good as your last game the way I see it. This time next week we could very well be talking about how great this looked against Jax.

The way the East is going, the winner could also have a top 10 draft pick.

All of my rooting is going towards one thing. I am pulling for any team at 1-4 because right now, the Cowboys aren't even in the top 10. And they need to be.

I can respect that.
I don't share it though. My fear is we end up around 8-8 and the Jones boys feel comfortable with their excuses and they stay the course.

Unfortunately I’m not even sure if 3-13 would make these guys change much.

I’ve seen enough of Garett, Linehan, Dak, Hurns, Beasley, Swaim and company to believe they can turn this around.

it could ugly tonite for the giants just like it might be for cowboys on sunday.

I am rooting for Dallas' offensive execution consistency to improve dramatically.
