Our suffering aside, the NFL needs the Cowboys to be competitive. The talking heads need the Cowboys to be competitive (Stephen A. Smith gets paid to act like he hates the Cowboys, but that bit will lose it's luster if we are expected to lose every week).The NFL this season is largely a bore, and I don't just say that because my team stinks.

Exactly. A loss on Sunday by the Cowboys and you will hear a big groan from the bean counters. 20-30% of the fans will tune out.

I hope they flex us out of the SNF game next week against the Eagles. Rather see the game Sunday afternoon.
But they will somehow think it will be good ratings.

I get the Cowboys for the early game. Also at noon, is PITT @ TENN. The late afternoon game is KC @ DEN. The night game is TB at LV.
