Nice win. I guessed 31-7. Final score was 34-13. Nine points off....rats!

Halfway through the season, some facets are very clear. The 2005 Cowboys are a much better team than the 2004 Cowboys. That said though, it wouldn't surprise me if Dallas went 9-7 this season and ended up in last place int he division. Key injuries are starting to catch up to this team. The offensive line had issues even before Adams' injury. The center position now seems to be the #1 focus of offseason acquisitions. Regardless, this team will be fun to watch the second half of the season.

Now to the game.

If I were to tell you that Torrin Tucker (with some help) would hold Bertrum Berry to one sack last Friday, would you have been satisfied? I am. Granted, it is still one sack too many, but asking for a shutout is going a bit far. Nice JOB TORRIN!

Give it up for Josh McCown. He is one tough dude. His best play, that ticked me off to no end, was when Roy Williams was in his grill on a blitz up the middle, and he still gets the pass off to Fritzgerald for a first down. McCown played valient and tough - and went 7-17 on 3rd down conversions.

Marion Barber - coming out party maybe? Did you see Parcells comments on him after the game? I loved it when Parcells said "He can run it, catch it, and is willing to block."

When Marion scored that second TD, I was yelling "GO GO GOPHER WATCH HIM GO GO GO!!!"

I hope Julius feels threatened. It is nice to have a two-headed monster at runningback. Hopefully, Tyson Thompson can watch these two guys and make it a three-headed monster. Regardless, I do not expect to see Anthony Thomas get activated again this season. Especially seeing how Ratliff, Singleton and Henry each had injuries.

NO PENALTIES?! ... There is a God in heaven.

Scott Suisham - Did okay for his debut. Granted, his chip shots were only 21 yards away, but at least he made them!!! However, 3 of his 7 kickoffs did not make the 10 yard line. 3 of his 7 kickoffs went to the 2 yard line. The other one went to the 5 yard line. Suisham held the fort, but he is no Neil Rackers.

I think Anthony Henry needs to give that TD ball to Demarcus Ware. Ware did not have any sacks for the second straight game, but he made his presence known. Anybody here regretting taking Ware over Merriman? Not me.

Boldin's TD? - Hey, nice push there buddy.

Who saw Petitti get away with a hold on Okafor? I did.

FINAL ANALYSIS: Dallas played hard and won an important game convincingly. However, with the offensive line woes and injuries starting to mount on the defense, it is going to be a tough road to win the NFC East.

I do love the direction this team is going though.

I agree, but 2 weeks off should cure some not all of those injuries though.

Price, who's liability is supposedly blocking, made a superb block on Barber's second TD. Wouldn't have been a touchdown without it.

Fortunately we aren't the only team in the division playing the violent game of football. Injuries will happen to everyone. I saw Chris Samuels, Chris Cooley, Shawn Springs, and Jevon Kearse hurt yesterday just to name a few within our division.

I am now listening to Dennis and Engle. All they want to talk about is the new Marion Barber/Julius Jones controversy.

Having 2 quality RB on this team is not a controversy it is a blessing.
