This has been a fun football season, both NFL and college. There are no super teams, at least no one is playing like one yet, and you could argue about ten teams have a legit chance, including the Cowboys. Makes things very interesting. If a team gets hot at the right time...you never know.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. One thing that stands out to me is the lack of elite QB play.

Top 5 are all pretty even and health is dictating who is best week to week.

SF has a great muscle you up plan when they are fully healthy but as the last 3 weeks have shown they can fall short on offense when the explosion is gone due to dings.
MIA has weapons galore but the D can be shaky without Ramsey.
DAL can be muscled up bit has great speed on both sides.
PHI is well built but OL has taken a step back from last years dominance and Hurts is having to take more chances in the passing game leading to more INT.
KC has regressed in most areas but still has Pat when he is healthy and well they will find ways to beat you.
NO has built a solid squad but might be more a pretender than true top 6 who can feed on a bad conference and soft schedule.

Rankings can be entertaining, but completely useless throughout the regular season.
I think many are over-rating the Bills.

They are useless. But fun to talk about. If you think about it, most of the things discussed and argued on here are useless, but entertaining.
Actual, relevant football discussion would be outstanding, but a little thin here.

Cowboys seem like two different teams.

Since the start of the 2022 season the Cowboys are 11-1 at home. They are 6-6 on the road.

Any given sunday. Considering we have 1 game tonight between the Lions and Raiders. This might change in a day, BUT this is all opinion anyways. Not like it's college.

Lmao eagles at number 1
Why wouldnt they be?

They have the best record in the NFL. Yeah, you'll say they struggled with some mediocre opponents and lost to the Jets but reality is every other team has lost to a bad team and struggled at times. We got punked by Arizona. Chiefs lost to the Broncos. 49ers? In free fall after another bad loss.

So where would Philly be ranked in the cowboys5xsbs poll?

This is more about opponent quality than anything else.

Those losses are: Philly, San Fran (2), Green Bay, Jax, and ARZ

Philadelphia 7-1
Kansas City 6-2
Jacksonville 6-2
Miami 5-2
Dallas 5-2
Seattle 5-2
Detroit 5-2
San Francisco 5-3
Buffalo 5-3
Ravens 4-2

We've beaten one team with a winning record so far....the mighty 4-3 Jets.

TBD

all in good fun though

I never liked that argument. Maybe some of those teams are below .500 BECAUSE we beat them. The Giants were a playoff team last year and were expected to be good this year, and we came out and shocked them. Maybe some teams that were below .500 when we played them, or now, will end up finishing the season above .500.
