RD1 Trade down with Chicago(22) get RD4 pick. Chicago Picks DJ Fluker

RD1(CHI) Sharrif Floyd DT Florida
Impact DT that would probably make Ratliff a June cut.

RD2 Barrett Jones C/G Bama
Another starter, and would start at one of the 3 interior spots.

RD3 Chase Thomas DE/LB Stanford
Dallas met with him at the combine, could plug him in at multiple spots

RD4 TJ McDonald S USC
Style Dallas will be using more aggressive type S's instead of the whole coverage ballhawk safety. Kiffin pick.

RD4 Brennan Williams T UNC
Player to come in and compete with Parnell for RT

RD5 Kenjon Barner RB Oregon
Chance of pace RB with pop. Finishes runs between the tackles, but can bump it outside.

RD6 Michael Williams TE Bama
Big blocker

UDFA
Travis Howard CB Ohio State
Michael Mauti LB Penn State
Kapron Lewis-Moore ND
Wes Horton DE USC
Marquis Jackson DE Portlant State
John Sullen G Auburn
Reggie Dunn WR Utah

I like this draft if it could work out this way. I am not sure that Thomas will be there in the 3rd but if he was, I would be pissing myself.

McDonald in the 4th would be great value. I don't see him lasting that long because somebody is going to fall in love with his numbers but if he were there, that would be a heck of a deal to get him at that point IMO.

I dont think we would have a shot at the 1st 3 guys you have going to us and pretty sure Barner in the 5th would be out of the question. Would be a great draft, just not very realistic.

Yeah im sure Thomas and Mcdonald will move up but im going on rankings as of now.

I think McDonald is going to be a Cowboy. Wether if its in the 3rd or the 4th.

I hope not. I think it would have to be in the 2nd or 3rd and I don't like that player there.

i dont think they'd pick a S in RD2. Actually i dont know if they will go S at all at this point. They like Matt Johnson and Church. I have a feeling they might run with them for a yr. and Let Johnson and Sensabaugh duke it out for the S spot opposite Church

Guy who intrigues me the most in this whole draft is Barner. The guy is so dynamic. People compare him to L James but two different RBs. James was never a guy to run into a pile finish off runs. Barner does all that and does it very good.

I don't know that this is true. I think they liked Church but they have no idea what he can do and I think the same is true for Johnson. In a Tampa Two, you better have Safeties who can play or your done. That's no joke.

Thats the thing tho, they drafted Johnson in round 4 and something invested. They kept him on the roster all yr. Couldve been to see if he could get on the field to see what they had. I just wouldnt be suprised if They go into 2013 with church, Sensabaugh and Johnson.

I like all of it except:

RD3 Chase Thomas DE/LB StanfordI
I don't think he is fast enough for a Kiffin style defense. He would be better as a 3-4 OLB, IMO.

Keep an eye on his forty time.

RD4 TJ McDonald S USC
I'm not a big fan of this player. He is not great in coverage.

This......

It holds water in mid Feb before the combine nice draft, I am not sure about Chase for LB, the cowboys really need that speedy linebacker(Arthur Brown Kansas) while Chase is more of a Sherman tank. Diversity in the picks are what make the Cowboys zone a good source of information. Like Biggems last year picking Mo for the first pick(end of feb) and everyone tearing him a new one. There are real nuggets of wisdom in some of these posts. Do not let the crowds sway your ideas.

I agree on Thomas...he is not a good fit here and I think we have a current player on our roster who can do many of the same things in Albright. I'd prefer Moore, Greene, or Porter if we are looking at OLB in this draft.

Why is he going to be running deep routes?

Pay more attention to his 3 cone and shuttle run times

Believe me, I compare all the measureables including the 10-yard time; however, off the top of my head I know that Kiffin defensive teams normally draft LBs that run sub 4.7 forties.

i actually wouldn't like moving from 18 to 22 for a 4th round pick.

The trade value chart shows that at 120 points or a late 3rd rounder.

My bad Chicago picks 20. 50 point difference

The trade value chart is outdated. When people only use it as the basis for a trade you miss out on some opportunities for additional picks and talent. I'd have no problem at all moving down 2-4 spots for a 4th.
