After watching both prospects, Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl says there is "no question" that he would rank Florida DT Sharrif Floyd ahead of Missouri DT Sheldon Richardson.
Floyd has "more power/strength at the point of attack, not as much range but tougher." Expect both players to "rise" during the process, and the duo could end up being selected in the top-10.

That's quite a statement.

Yeah, Floyd's really rising. Supposedly a lot of chatter around the league that he's a solid top 10 overall player.

We shall see.

Come on QBs...we need you to go too early!

Being a HUGE Gator fan......he is the real deal, watch the second half against A&M against their 2 top lineman

Floyd would be an outstanding pick for the Cowboys at 18, IMO.
A dream come true.

Here's one for you: if both Floyd and Warmack are both there at 18, who do you take?

Tough call, imo.

I would take Warmack.

Floyd. But I really don't see Floyd being all that much better than Richardson if at all. Richardson is just more disruptive IMO. Neither one really anchor well. I guess you just never really see Richardson try to anchor. I would be happy with either one.

It is like asking which gun shot wound do you want stitched up first.

The stitching a wound part works for me. We have to close these gaping holes asap.:starspin

As I see it, you could trot out last years personnel on offense (not saying I want do this at all, just saying) and at least compete. If you trot out last years personnel on this new 4-3 defense, you are not going to be competitive. D Line and Safety are not good enough IMO.

Been saying this all along.

If you actually watch the tape, it's pretty clear.

Warmack, and hoped Melton was signed during free agency.

Warmack in a heartbeat...

I'm thinking Warmack, Floyd, Richardson, Johnson, and Vcarro will all be gone by 18. Cooper might be the pick or a trade back.

how many sacks did Floyd have? We need a pass rusher that could finish a play.
