I would agree with a lot of this. I just wish this offense would not be so committed in running the ball to the left side.
First off, we aren't nearly as dominant on the left side that we can line up and just run over people. Any defense we face knows darn well we are way too comfortable running behind Larry Allen and Flozell Adams. Truth is, we are better on that side, but not nearly good enough to justify being as left-handed as we are.
This does not benefit Julius, IMO. And I realize I don't know everything the coaching staff knows. What I am saying is, this notion that our left side is so overpowering, dominant, and almost guaranteed yardage might not be as factual as some would have us believe.
That said, no one is run blocking especially well right now.
