Anyone for Weis as the HC? He knows offense, Quarterbacks and WRs. In the NFL he does not have to go and recruit defensive players, all he needs to do is let whomever the DC is work his scheme and he manages the team and the OC and the offense, continue to guide Romo to the next level.

He has that Parcells/Belichek personality, he is aggressive and he will hold the players accountable, and I believe he and Jerry can work because he will be a passive aggressive with Jerry, meaning he will not seek all the attention and let Jerry have the spotlight which will help him when he goes to Jerry to get the players he wants.

Yes, it seems that he failed in college, but I disagree as I said he knows Offense, QBs and WRs, that has been reiterated by some pundits, today on Herd Andy Reid said he talks with Weis all the time and he said basically the same thing.

Some say he did not have the personality to coach college kids and is better suited for the NFL.

I say that once he went and hired his DC, that his DC did not have the time he needed to get his type of players for his scheme.

I like Weis, but I would like to hear what the rest of you think

He failed? I'm a Notre Dame homer, you say he failed. We had a top 5 offense, all we needed was to give Tenuti time to get the defense together.

Regardless, he is still better than what we have right now

Disagree he was a flake at ND he'd be even worse here. It's bad enough that successful college coaches don't transition to the NFL well you want to take some bum and make him your HC? What ajoke.

The difference is Weiss was a Pro guy that went to college and failed. Many say because of his personality. Allow a little artistic licsense and think about a team with Weiss and Wade as coordinators with a strong minded, detail oriented HC. Like a Tomlin-type who mainly controlled the teams emotion and big picture in-game decisions. In my opinion that is the formula for success. Smart coordinators who don't have the personality of a HC. Coupled with the strong leadership of a figurehead. That's like a schematic wet dream...

But NO NO NO to Weiss as head coach. That's a disaster in the making, someone needs to make him an OC first.

If we can start stealing Defensive calls, yes. If not, I will have to say no.

He failed in College, in Notre Dame the most similar sporting franchise to our Dallas Cowboys. He is my last choice for Head Coach, after Tom Cable.

If Jerry were to hire Weis we would officially be Oakland East.

well then he should be OC...and I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Can we just get one coach who isn't a fat slob?

I'd rather get blasted in the groin, and I gotta tell you, I don't like getting blasted in the groin.
