What a relief to not watch FG's that are splitting the uprights and not feel ok maybe we score 3.

Great pickup. Minus the first kickoff the rest were not boomers out of the end zone but at least kept the returner in a position where our ST's for once looked semi competent

There is something to be said about kicking the ball b/w the GL and the 20.

There is also something to kicking the ball higher where it allows the coverage to get there.

Same as a lower deeper kick.

I prefer getting a shot at a tackle and possible turnover than just marching to the 25 and starting from there.

But Forbath has probably saved the ST coaches job if it continues.

Forbath has missed more extra points than Maher this season and Kai has only played in 2 games. But at least he's off to a good start.

He does have a lot of movement in his kicks which kinda worries me. His kicks don’t go straight through the uprights. It kind of slices and hooks it’s way through. If he gets into a funk, it could be a long one.

Compared to Maher? Maher's FG's had more movement than I though possible. You'd think he was kicking through a whirl wind all the time...

When Maher put his head on his pillow last night, he was content that Forbath is a good replacement for him.

Think about it. New team, first game, first kickoff...you're trying to kick it to Fort Worth.

Same as trying to kill your tee shot on the first hole. Swing too hard, turn on the ball, and hook it into the woods.

It's all about the ability to make kicks from 40-49. For their careers:

Forbath: 38/44 (86%)
Maher: 8/16 (50%)
Bailey: 61/75 (81%)
