Welcome to Carolina

I just went over to your board and the first thing I read was:

Put this guy back in his cage, heavy on the medication, call me in the morning.

What did he say that was wrong? :D

If you wanna stir some trouble, go over and talk about how much Delhomme sucks... Then watch the beehive implode!!! ;-)

but, shhhh, you didn't hear that from me! ;-)

the cowboys secondary is ******* terrible. roy williams is the most overhyped piece of **** in the nfl. hes the only safety who cant grasp the concept of not letting anyone behind you. santana moss has three catches for 1500 yards against the cowboys. smitty will have a 200 yard game. mark it down

My friend I live here this post right here is the norm.
Thats what I mean. :D

some of you guys sound really confident. but last time i checked fans on message boards and talk radio don't get to suit up. see you guys on saturday

If you lived in Dallas, and your team was 10-4, leading the division, would conversation be any different there?

We got much bigger problems than Roy's coverage skills. Such as Carolina deciding to line Peppers and Rucker up on Tucker's side of the field.

According to the Observer, we'll see you on Sunday (typo)... lol

It's a 50-50 shot as to whether that particular reporter will show for the game... ;-)

That guy raggin on Roy Williams obviously hasn't seen Keith where'd they go Davis, its part of our scheme you know...

Dont know dont live there. Last game I took my wife to she had on her Cowboy Jacket, while waiting in the munchie line I left her to take a leak, on my return there were two Panther fans verbaly attacking her. Two big jackasses attacking a 5'1"110 lb woman. What botherd me the most? Not one other person was defending her. I understand every team has their jerks but the bystanders not doing anything was classless. Cant say I would have stood there and watched that go on myself.

And have some more of your guys come over and talk about how badly Parcells failed and should be canned.. Then watch a ton of guys here say how knowledgeable Panther fans are.

Support for Jake Delhomme is about 60-40... Toss out a few semi-accurate Jake one liners, and the masses would turn on themselves like the wild cannibals of Peru... lol

Nance, why have you guys been inconsistent? You guys were my pick from the NFC this year, and even though you're very good, I'm a little surprised you haven't been better. What's the story? Is it mainly Delhomme's throws up for grabs?

For the most part, it's our inability to run the ball... Unlike the last few years, we just cannot seem to get things going on the ground... Sure, Smitty is having a fantastic year, but quite a bit of that is because he's our ONLY consistent offensive option... We just put Stephen Davis on IR (more out of pity than anything) and elevated Foster to the starting slot... That helped some last week, but the week before Tampa sealed the run off, and took control of the game... If you guys can stop the run, you'll either win this game, or make it very, VERY close...

As for Jake, he's just out of rhythm, and cannot find a groove... Now, depending on who you ask, there are several reasons... Many say his numbers are down because he's being exposed for the career backup he should be... Others say it's the running game... Some say it's the departure of Muhammad... Still others will point to his numbers and say that he's having a better year than he did in our Super Bowl season... Personally, I think it's a combination of several things, namely the running game, and him trying to make too many things happen... We desperately need a dependable option at RB and WR (behind Smitty)...

Another problem we're having is inconsistent play from the defense... Sure they're ranked high, but in following the team all year, they're up and down... I blame the DC, Trgovac... We're not aggressive enough, and tend to think our front 4 can pressure a QB into making mistakes... That rarely happens, and we tend to make average QBs look like pro-bowlers... Which is exactly what I'm afraid Bledsoe will look like this weekend... Particularly if we fail to blitz, like we usually do...

I'd take Delhomme any day over Bledstone.

He should be our QB anyway but The Cowboys got cheap.

Keys to beating us.

Blitz

Run Sweeps

Play-action, throw deep on Glenns side.

Let us move the ball in to field goal range and stop us there( we won't make it )

It's their running game. From everything I've read, they haven't had one or it's been a non-factor and they haven't had a WR opposite Smith. Some of that is Delhomme doesn't look for anybody but him, but some of that have been the other WRs themselves.

That's just been from reading. I haven't seen enuff of them to know one way or the other.

If your running game is in need of a resurrection, you couldn't have picked a better team. We don't have a run defense anymore.

That about sums it up. I get to watch alot of Panthers games
Smith is their only consistent offense. Like some one else said, they are us with a better O line.

That's part of the problem... The debate is whether or not it's the inability of receivers to find seams, or Delhomme's inability to check down... Personally, I think it's the receivers, but that's a huge debate currently...
