Watching this team reminds me of preparing your favorite bowl of cereal in the morning.

You wake up head to the kitchen and fill up your cereal bowl with your favorite brand.

You fire up the coffee brewer selecting 'Bold' as the flavor expecting it to accelerate your morning.

You go to the refrig and grab the milk. You pour and what comes out is something that looks more like cottage cheese than milk. It smells awful and you have just entered..

"The Curdled Zone."

You scream and look at the freshness date. It is a week past the date. You throw out the cereal bowl but the smell lingers everywhere.

The week is going to go south from there.

Which brings me to the metaphor above.

We now find ourselves "in the Curdle Zone".

I turn on the TV. I flip on the network with the game.

I ignore the talking sports heads moaning about the Cowboys and hit mute.

Finely the kickoff arrives. Sound back on.

Within 10 minutes the Commanders score a TD on a turnover and a safety which scores 2 pts then they punt to the Commanders and before long Dallas is down 22 pts before the half arrives.

My milk has again soured. Watching this team always messes up my happiness anymore.

It has become unwatchable.

Mike McCarthy has set this franchise back 10 years in a span of 6 games.

This is by far the worst play we have ever done in our history. I said it before..

McCarthy needs to go.

He can take his analytics and put them where his sun doesn't shine.

This guy is incompetent and way past his freshness date.

But who really cares anymore?

Not me.

Maybe not you.

I don't think the players do.

Feel free to add your thoughts.

Jerry's Cowboys are best used by Jan 1996.

McCarthy, like Garrett before him, is merely a symptom. He's not the disease.
Sorry..

I need a few more second opinions.

McCarthy is responsible for firing everybody before the season started.

Also for hiring all the coaches who can't coach.

I suppose it's all Jerrah's fault? He is not calling plays nor doing the gameplans that have no hope of succeeding.

Maybe we can point fingers at Mrs. Jones for giving birth to Jerrah?

Shift the blame around all you want. Before it was Jason Garrett. Then Marinelli then Richard.

It gets comical.

McCarthy is the problem.

I'm not an MM fan either, but what the hell is he supposed to do when his entire offensive line is missing along with his #1 and #2 QB's and #1 TE? If that wasn't enough, he has the biggest group of defensive slackers the NFL has ever seen, and his #1 RB doesn't seem to care.

What would you do? How would you fix this?

Yes, I remember 2015 and how that season was lost to Romo's injury, but that was the only significant injury and Garrett could only muster one stinking win. So please don't bring up Garrett for a comparison.

Yeah. I dropped two threads today. My record ever.

I'm going to spend the rest of the night with my wife watching classic Universal Horror movies.

* gotta finish that baking show episode too!

Nice post, but they had zero impact on my mood today. I knew what to expect. Only thing that bothers me is not betting against them.
