This is the busiest day of the year for ESPN. Without any major sports to report, they tend to manufacture the biggest amount of manure on this day and call it sports broadcasting (which is not too far off from what they do everyday anyway).

Yes, but the All Star Game is finally over and the talk shows and commentators will now begin the run up to the opening of training camps for the NFL. The long dry period is over soon. The oasis of football is on the horizon in the desert of major league baseball. We'll get our first 'drink' of real football news in a couple of weeks. A light can be seen at the end of the tunnel.

Yes but it is going to be a Looooong three weeks (two and a half...whatever) until camp starts. Nothing going on but baseball (barf) with the World Cup over...it will be torture.
