what pisses me off the most is that it was our 1st game w/o Romo and we laid down

Seems all the teams the cowboys need to lose have cupcake schedules from here on out, while the cowboys have the hardest schedule in the NFL (last 4 games).
IMO if we go 10-6 we won't be in the playoffs cuz one of those other teams that are "ahead" of us (eventhough we're tied) will easily go 10-6 with their easy schedules.

Boysboy;2453745 said:Pt being that you just can't pinpoint even 1-2 plays on ONE game and say..."That was THE difference!", b/c there are MANY variables throughout the course of the season. Heck-we win that game, we prolly continue to go up, down, and eating the cheese and being complacent, and subsequently stink it up in Dec.

Of course we lost that one because we were playing uninspired ball with many players thinking they could just show up and win. Just like the first meeting vs. Washington and even our lackluster effort letting Cincy come back against us.
If we had won the AZ and not had Romo's injury then the team may have stayed in the mode of thinking they could just show up and win and it might have cost us down the stretch. Right now I think we have a stronger and more focused team but because of that loss to AZ and StL. we may end up coming up a game short at the end.

Hey-now, everything's turning out for THE BEST for us!

That 3rd and 18 screen pass where they were basically setting up a punt killed us. They scored a TD on that drive. Had they not scored on that drive, we'd have probably won the game in regulation. Romo and McBriar never get hurt. We probably dont lose at St Louis with Romo at QB either.
We'd be sitting at 9-2 and it good shape to make the playoffs and possibly even win the division.
