Although T.O.'s contract is not officially signed-sealed-and-delivered yet, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank JJ for having the guts to go after and get T.O. baggage and all. As in Texas Hold 'Em, there'll come a time when you just have to put all your chips in. I guess it's that time for the 'Boys. THANK YOU Jerry Jones for having the balls to get this done!

Welcome aboard T.O.! :starspin

You took the words right out of my mouth. Jones knew this crazy market would eventually settle down, now were getting guys at decent prices. We still need vinatieri though.

I want to see the contract first. I really hope we didn't pay him what he wanted the Eagles to fork out.

Well done Jerry, way to sell your soul to the devil for another ring.

Well done Bill Parcells, way to tarnish the great legacy you have spent over 20 years building because of the pressure to win one more ring.

Well done Cowboys, for just now being another franchise who shows the kids in this world that no matter how bad of a teammate you are there will be always be some sucker out there who wants you if your talented.

Woooo Hooooo, lol.

I guarantee this move bited Bill and Jerry in the behind sooner rather than later.

Yeah thanks JJ for only caring about the attention, and marketing money a self indulgent narcissistic piece of garbage like TO would bring.

Thanks for making us the joke of the league.

This isn't about winning. Its about money. TO has already showed he can't win a ring. His specialty, stats, and teammate bashing.

If Owens is truly dedicated to winning this can only be good for us.

Good job all around!

Haven't you heard? Pro football is ENTERTAINMENT, not sports!
Those who think it is actually a "sport" are deluding themselves.
BTW, this is NOT just my opinion, it is FACT! It has been confirmed many, many times in public statements by coaches, and league officials.

"It's entertainment, not a sport."

Why do entertainers entertain? For money.

Like pro wrestling. It's entertainment, not a true sport.

I'm not saying that it is all, "fake" and "choreographed" like pro wrestling, but the "basis" is the same.

If a pro wrestler can put on a hood, and wear red boots and make some outrageous statements on TV, he begins to pick up a "following". Then, he gets paid more to appear at wrestling events. More TV viewers tune in and the TV ratings go up. Commercial time is sold for more dollars per minute, and the "program" makes more money, so the "wrestlers" get paid more.

That's pro football (in a nutshell).

Only (in football) the games are left to "chance", whereas in pro wrestling, sometimes they "arrange it" so one guy can win (if it will keep interest higher).

Isn't it all about getting the ring?

It is the money for the players, the ring for management.

Wow some people are deluded about Bill Parcells. Yes he is a hall of fame coach. But this guy had management problems. Broke off contracts with teams. Left teams suddenly Discussed future contracts DURING SUPER BOWL WEEK suposedly...

OWNES AND PARCELLS ARE PEAS IN A POD>..

dont try to deny it either.

Two hall of fame football guys on the same team. Crusading for another ring.

I can really understand why some people are so mad about the T.O. signing, I really do. I was at first against it myself, BUT I've come to the realization that we NEED T.O. to make a run at another SB. Some may throw in their "Cowboys fan membership" because of this and all I can say is "Oh, well". That said, there WILL still be room for ya'll when the Cowboys bandwagon is headed for the SB.....;)

Saw an old Tom Cruise movie the other day-The Firm, I believe?

You had to emphathize with the guy 'cuz he had Harvard student loans up the MS river, and ended up selling his soul for a corrupt law firm that gave him EVERYTHING-$$$$, a big home, a car, etc-only to find out his entire life would take a wrong turn.

The same thing is gonna happen with Jerry and his franchise, I fear.
