Not very well coached (Garrett is very average when it comes to scheming teams that are over .500)...
Poor special teams (the punt coverage, the returns, the fumble)...
Lack of discipline (penalties, not knowing where to be, 12 men on the field)...
The bottom line is that we all bought in to the hype. The team is very, very average. Wins against Cincy, Cleve, Seattle, Wash (when they are on the way down), Green Bay, San Fran...only two that are "quality."
This is a very average team that cannot overcome adversity. They are not even conditioned/trained very well as they are continually having injury after injury...
9-7...10-6 at best. Probably neither good enough for a WC, and realistically not much would happen even if we got there.
