Fans can hoot-and-holler as loudly and powerfully as they humanly can. There is nothing wrong with doing that. Rooting for your favorite team can fill your soul with enjoyment. That is always a good thing.

Let's be real though. The only situation where fans can help their favorite team is when they are physically with them inside a stadium. Crowd noise can boost a player's adrenaline. It can help mess with a snap count, creating false starts, offsides, etc.

However, no fan sitting on their couch or at a sports bar or out in the middle of nowhere screaming their heads off at a tv or radio will help their team win. There is no telepathy. The team is not feeling 'good good vibrations' tens, hundreds or thousands of miles away.

Keep being a fan and how any fan can 'help' the team in proper perspective. Fans are fans. Fans are not a bunch of Professor Xaviers. Shoot. I am a fan and still have my hair, lol.

I am still a fan of my high school team and my college team. But they no longer matter that much. The boys have been my main team for more than 30 years and a fan for over 50.

BUT I will not be a minion. I route for the TEAM not any individual player or coach and CERTAINLY NOT any owner or GM.

I will call out all that I believe are either incompetent or unable to get it done.

We start at the top with an incompetent GM/Owner. Great businessman and mediocre at best GM. Even HE has admitted he would have fired a GM that failed as much as he had.

The Head coach does have a ring; has shown he is a very good coach. we shall see what he can do here.

The staff is so so; some good ones and some just OK.

As regards the talent, I would say we are near top 5 overall; depending on our younger players continuing to develop and our older players not falling off. Top 5 is probably our ceiling.

Those that forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Those that ignore the past will suffer the consequences.

Therefore I cannot believe in this team until they actually get it done. I will root for them but that is all. Too many years of failures when it matters to be any other way.
Are you divorced?

Nothing you say ever makes any sense. So I copied and pasted your words into Google Translate and it broke that tool. So it's not your Rambo tough-guy talk but your word salad that makes you such a dangerous cyber-weapon. Who knew?
I gave up reading his posts because I never had any idea what he's trying to say.

And even if you weren’t, it wouldn’t have any effect on the teams success whatsoever

its more important the we respect each other than to respect the franchise or it’s owner

from the owner to the janitor of AT&T stadium, they don’t give a rip about our attitudes as fans…..but we should strive to be civil to each other as forum fans…..even when we disagree

Well, I explained in a new thread why, but I think there is a lot as fans to be excited to see, and some wrinkles in our team will be answered this season.

I am too. I don’t get how someone can’t. It’s the offseason….things are gearing up. The time of the year where everyone has a shot a title….excited to see our young guys in preseason.
Yes, and I'm excited to see who will step up in training camp and show that they can answer some of the questions about our team that we have.

Oh no doubt. The addition of Gilmore and Cook were perfectly targeted FA acquisitions so I’m excited just for that move alone.

I was responding to the OP about “ being fans again”……99% of us never stopped

Fur sure, and I think that those moves, along with drafting Mazi, keeping DQ, and keeping Hankins will be a big reason this defence becomes an even better unit.

Agree with you 100%, bro.

I know we can’t get all the things we want but I’m still concerned with the RB position. Dak needs to have a stout running game so he can be all he can be.

I can’t get that 1TD, 12 point game against the Niners out of my memory. We may be deeper at the receiving position but the health of Pollard and lack of proven depth has me concerned.

I hope I’m wrong about that.

The state of the oline completely escapes you.

I would love to see you answer a few simple questions about this great Oline you think we have. But your theory seems to crumble at that point.

The Cowboys use to put on basketball games here and with great turn outs.

My wife and I were sitting in the first football game exhibition against Tennessee Titans and a pair of fans and their children were sitting right in front of my wife and me. The lady was so fightened by the heights involved that she began to cry. We had just met them, but they left their three children under our for the entire first half. They returned for the second half and we had warm talk.

...but you really mean we're not to chunk anything at the TV?

I'm going to enjoy the upcoming NFL season. If the Cowboys do well that's a bonus. But I'm gonna cheer for the players I like even though not all of them are Cowboys. The NFL is no longer about rivalries and loyalty!

I bet them 3 kids, upon rearrival of the pair, stood immediately tall and straight, snapping the crispest of most respectful salutes, after a half, under the wing of your tutelage.
