Hoping we fill at least one of those needs via FA. CB is a huge need imo as is a pass rusher. Not sure all our needs get filled before next season

What do your eyes tell you about Bland being a better slot or outside corner? Mine tell me he SUCKS on the outside and gets 3rd degree burns over 80% of his body every game he plays out there.
A lot of that is recency bias, Bland has regressed because he is playing in Flus's bull crap bend but don't brake cover 2 defense. He was really great when he was allowed to be aggressive and alter routes at the line of scrimmage. I really thought he played great in the slot his rookie year in Dan Quinns aggressive Defense. Then, when he moved outside he surprise me with his explosiveness. I don't have a problem with Bland at either position. A change in philosophy will be a welcome change for everyone involved.
Bland has never played a good game vs a top wr/qb duo as an outside cb. Quinn or not. Has nothing to do with scheme. He's a low confidence corner that belongs in the slot
He does have problems with the bigger stronger X-Type Receivers. That game vs DK Metcalf, really stands out.
