I’ll get to the offense in a moment but man, the defense was terribly disappointing today. Marlin friggin Mack looked like Jim Brown out there. Actually, he looked like Marlin Mack, because any rb could have run through those holes. Defense was positively awful and need to stop buying into their own hype. They had one stop all day, when the TE dropped an easy pass and the Colts got called for penalties. I know they’ve help up their end most of the year but they need to go back to basics.

I have zero issues with the play calling. Zero. We dropped an easy touchdown, had a kick blocked, got sacked when we were in fg range, and got called for critical penalties when we did convert. That’s not coaching. It’s all player execution. And please don’t give me anything in that pass in third and one. A toddler could have called that pass, even if it was a little underthrown.

I’m sure some will criticize the coaching because the players weren’t ready. Okay, whatever.

On offense we know they’re limited. We’ve stayed in games only because of the defense. They had the time to work into games. The line was obviously limited but I thought they did well enough, except for the holding calls. We ran well enough.

The bottom line is that dak needs to be better for the offense to be successful. He’s holding the ball too long, he over and under throwing guys, he’s not feeling his way through the rush, he’s not running, and basically, he sucked badly today. I mean, worse than usual. You simply cannot have the lapses he’s had. And the record number of sacks he’s this year are mostly on him. He doesn’t look like a legitimate QB but he’s all we got so there is no choice but to stay behind him.

Of course, we could still end the day today as NFC champs so the season not over. Will still watch and root until the end.

Hopefully it will be a wake up call.... Offense was horrible in the red zone..

The stench is horrifying

We also established very clearly that Zack Martin is an All Pro and Adam Redmond was only given a half dozen snaps in three years for a very good reason.

After 5 wins in a row they needed a loss like that to snap them back to reality.

Even the SB teams of the 90s lost some games Maybe not like THAT!!!! But still.

Hopefully the will use it instead of the opposite.

My Cowboys gave to me, six geese a-laying
Time to hit the bottle, hard! :(

The offense stinks.. Nothing new.

Effort was the main issue this week but I saw this coming from them.

The sacks are maybe 25% on dak. If dak was the issue we’d simply run it successfully in the red zone. We can’t depend on our o line at all

Sua-Filo was bad early and Redmond was bad replacing him. Looney plays well in the running game but has issues with blitz pickups, which Indy killed him with.

On top of that, it was totally a Snit Happens game with the blocked FG and 4th down conversion early. It happens and we are still going to win 9 or 10 games.
