Belichick is exactly what this bone head mistake driven team needs. Situational football has alluded this team for several years. They lack it more than any team in pro football. He would correct that. Also he would definitely fix the defense which has almost always been top 5 or 10 his entire career. He’s the greatest football coach to ever live. Why would you not hire him over the terrible choices out there right now?

Are we really sure Belichick is worth it? He's already in his 70's and probably has one 5 year contract in him at best. It'll take a few years to get the roster right, though he may could actually force Jerry to make the correct personnel moves. But if I remember correctly he was often as cheap as Jerry in free agency. Didn't ever win much without Brady, and I'm sure I won't be the first person to point out in this thread that Dak isn't Brady. We need someone who can get the best out of Dak with creative schemes, an emphasis on the run game, and good play calling. I do not want Josh McDaniels as our OC.

You got the best out of him in 23 and where did that get this team? Deer in the headlights in the playoffs. That’s him that’s who he is, he is not going to change after 10 years in the league, especially with him losing his athleticism from the injuries and age.

Bill would be the best coach this team has hired since Parcels. We need someone who jerry respects enough to let them do things their way. Jerry and son seem to be at their best when they are in a support role to a competent coach. We need a coach who understands situational football. Bill checks all those boxes. Love the guys on here yapping about how he did nothing without Brady. Well, Bill drafted Brady and handed him the football. It's also a fact that not all those super bowls were won with prolific Qb play. Their was a lot of Bill's defense involved.

The problem is that Bill doesn't have enough pieces on defense to run his scheme in Dallas, particularly at LB and CB. Diggs is going to be of no value next year, if the team decides to keep him. So, how do you acquire talent when it's clear Jerry and son don't want to mortgage future cap space to build a contender? Well, maybe they change their tune when they have clear leadership on the sideline with direction.
