No one likes Romo, but people who hate the Cowboys like Dak. I don't get it.

Jimmy leaving Irvin on the tarmac is one of my favorite stories
JMO, but my opinion is when Romo became the starter he was a young single man with aww shucks charisma and a sense of humor, and no worse than a middle class background.
He played the field and broke some famous hearts, was an overnight sensation and was jaw dropping with his ability to throw the football. Then in a few national moments his ascent to superstardom was put on hold by a few gaffes in front of the whole world who were waiting on baited breath to see him fail.
Later in his career the media that tried to take him down several notches and overreacted to his gaffes developed a sense of responsibility to salvage his reputation, and re-mold him as one of the finest people on and off the field that ever played the game. Which he is, was, whatever.
Now it's come to this. The end for Romo, and the media will have to live with how they painted the story of a truly great, class player as a loser until it was too late.
