good gawd, shutup chicken littles

everyone except for us, told us that learning, and getting comfortable with the 3-4 would take time, well, guess what, it's taking time...

now for the offense, the run-blocking of the Oline is just terrible, guess we're going to continue to keep on having to wing it for some lanes to open up, that's where Parcells comes in, his butt needs to learn how to adjust, and quit relying on what gave him success in the past, a strong running game, well, we don't have one, need to go to our strength, passing the football, early and often, and hell, spread them out and run some freakin' draws with JJ, now, I don't want Parcells gone, like certain chicken littles, just want his *** to get into the 21st century of playing football, relying on the run is only good when the D is strong, and it's working, we don't have a strong D, we need to air it out

when are the players going to get comfortable with the 3-4?!

soon enough.. hopefully we can pick up a real FS so teams just cant unload the deep ball vs. us...i think when we bring roy closer to the line, he makes plays..but when we put him deep, he saves deep balls...I saw roy blitz one time int he raiders game because he was preventing moss from the deep ball all day

Yes, we're 2-2, but there are two tough home division games. At worst, we need to split these games. I don't think that I'm overreacting by saying 2-4 with three home divisional losses means it's pretty much over before it started.

I agree. 2-2 is about where I thought we'd be after this portion of our schedule. Again, 4-4, 5-3 at the halfway point of the season is not bad for us. The defense will get better. Everyone knew this team would have to gel. We have to stay alive for the last 8 games of the year, then we can do some damage. Need I remind yall that Carolina was 1-7 at the half way point, and they almost made the playoffs

we need to find consistency, that's the bottomline, that's the D gelling, and going with what works on offense, which isnt' our running game, I wouldn't be this angry if we were showing some consistency, and move around with a sense of urgency once in awhile, instead of at the end of games

btw, before the season began, I pegged the boys at 8-8

i got em at 9-7. sure they can go 6-6...but why not go out there and go 7-5. i mean, i could give a huge list of negatives, and why this season is a wash. but at 2-2, ill be a homer and stay optimistic. the talent is there. the time is still there to make the talent produce results.
After week 4 we could go as bad as 2-14, or as good as 14-2. Point being, its too early to even get a great read on this team. Have we been inconsistant, yes. However, consistancy isnt measured over 4 weeks, but 16. so everyone slow down and keep yall heads up.

Except Parcells has thrown the ball around before...It's not like he's just being stubborn. So why is he not throwing it as much here? He obviously has a reason.

It could be that he doesn't trust the offensive line to protect Drew consistently.
It could be that he believes that Julius is his best player and biggest threat to break a game open.
It could be that he's a little concerned that the defense couldn't hold up if teams had more possessions against us.

I know the cool thing to do right now is blame Parcells for everything, but there is a method to his madness here.
