We're not hearing much about Henson...

Most of these reports that talk about the QB, it seems to be either Bledsoe or Romo. Is there any thing that I might have missed about Henson?

I wonder what's up...?

thanks,you had to post this.

iceberg gets it, why can't you 5stars? ;)

I have nothing aginst Henson, but, man oh man...if Bledsoe bites the dust, I hope the team don't go up the proverbial river without a paddle!

Iceberg is slowly teaching me...:)

Goody..

2 days of camp and it's already time to break out the cheese for the 'I haven't seen Henson play so Bill sucks' brigade.

Oh, I almost forgot..............................................................:)

jack, speaking of your sig, why would we want to draft another punt returner, when we already have SKyler? :D

Took below from the www.bloggingtheboys.com website. Take it for what it's worth at this point in TC, particularly since original source was observations made by ranchreport's Mike Fisher:

Camp Notes

Mike Fisher from ranchreport.com makes some observations from the teams first practice day. I found this one to be very interesting, especially for all those Drew Henson fans out there.

P.M. WHO'S NOT: Watch for Drew Henson to quietly slip from being in competition with Tony Romo for the No. 2 job into trying to hang onto the No. 3 job; he didn't do a very sound job of the latter Saturday evening. In 7-on-7 passing drills, Henson threw consecutive groundball passes to wide-open receivers. Worse, coach Bill Parcells - who spent much of the second workout of the day barking angrily at players - barely raised an eyebrow at Henson, almost as if he takes the failures as normal.
I don't know how you guys feel, but I think Henson's days in Dallas are numbered. If he makes it through this camp, I can't see him making the team in 2007, especially if Parcells decides to coach another year. Henson's only hope to make it with the Cowboys is if Parcells retires after this season which I'm not so sure will happen. Grizz should probably post a poll on this, but I'm in the "Parcells will coach two more years" camp, making Henson a goner for sure.

Because he's a WR.......and a CB......and better PR......and he's a Buckeye.......and I've had the sig well before this year's draft........and we weren't speaking of my sig.

The only reason I ask, is because I'm not totally comfortable going into the season with those two inexperienced QBs!

But, I guess if Tuna don't care, I guess I shouldn't...but, man, it would really be a shame if the team was coming on strong and Bledsoe were do go down, and those two backups could not get it done...that would be a bummer, especially because of all the moves the team has done this year...

I think Tony Romo will impress many of you once you see him play more, like Parcells has stated.

There's plenty of room on the Romo bandwagon right now, jump in while you can.

There are going to be some interesting signature lines this September..................one way or the other!!!

The Yale kid already has a nickname:rolleyes:

According to one report I read yesterday, Bledsoe and Romo got 4 throws each and Henson and Mroz got 2 throws each. Don't know if that was morning or afternoon. He hasn't had much opportunity to impress yet, but it's early in TC.

That would be two series.

Tucker lasted 3 years with Parcells and was kept over Vollers last year...maybe not so false.

But when did he "get" his nickname?

The point is - it's irrelevant.

I was at TC this weekend. All of the quarterbacks got plenty of snaps. Romo was overthrowing everybody and did not look good, Henson threw some interceptions as did Bledsoe and Mroz looks to have a nice arm, but it was clear he was uncomfortable in alor of the drills. Parcells said the offense looked sluggish which it did except for TO and Glenn. I wouldn;t reAd into anything good or bad at this point.
