did you see him do that spin move against Watt this past season (not in the vid above)? for someone who is disabled he sure made the best defense player look average.

Yes, that's why I said he still makes those amazing plays occasionally. However, he used to always look to escape instead of going to the ground like he does now. It might be the smarter move at this point in his career, but those wow moves get you on your feet and is part of what makes him special. (Of course, I don't know if ducking was the smart move against Washington, because it ended up making his lower back a direct target for a knee.)

There are plenty of things to like about an older, wiser Romo, but at the same time I miss that young guy who never knew when to give up on a play. Again, some of that was to his and the team's detriment, but it sure was fun to watch. We still get to enjoy it some, but in smaller doses.

he has learned to live another day; the consequences of having to deal with putrid O lines for so long. If the O line continues to do a great job I could see him being more willing to hold on.

Possibly. If he continue to have seasons where he's in the MVP conversation, I think I can live with him going to the ground when he feels it's necessary.

it's ridiculous how lethal and effective that back spin move is. I don't remember another quarterback ever even attempting that move.

Man, some of those o-lines were atrocious. As was said in several posts, where was the Rams play? How could they leave out the, uh, best scramble since scrambled eggs?

Man am I going to miss this guy when he hangs the cleats up. This guy has just been very, very fun to watch. Looking at that video, there are only a handful of QBs who could have a similar highlight reel put together for them. You just don't see that kind of stuff on attypical NFL Sunday unless you watch Romo.

Also, figured I would leave this here. Fun times lol.

Always exciting, but seeing these all in a row kind of attests to how bad our offensive line has been in years past too.

Missing the JJ Whiff and I'm sure a few others, I do love that Romo spin move.

I also liked the one where he was standing behind the ref mimicking him while the ref made the penalty call.
