When the kicker threw his helmet off at the end of the game i could have sworn the ball was still in the air. didn't a brown do that a few years back and it changed the outcome of the game. oh well, i guess we just move on from here.

We weren't screwed because, as the article correctly states, the game was OVER when Brown took his helmet off.

This is a non-issue.

We continue to grasp at straws to come up with ways the refs should have bailed us out.

Funny you mentioned that because I thought the same thing. I thought the Rudd call was a mighty picky call, to be honest.

But I think the difference aside from the fact that few refs are going to make the call is that if I'm not mistaken, there was time left in the Browns-Chiefs game and no time was left on the clock in the Seattle game.

Even as a Cowboys fan, I wouldn't have wanted to see the refs flag Brown and make him re-kick. The game doesn't need to be decided on something as trivial as that.

Why did you delete the article that you originally posted?

It answered your question for you.

Are you trying to play games here?

LOL. So true Danny.

The Cowboys lost a game they should have won and had several opportunities to win.

Now let's dine on some roasted Cardinals. :D

We were screwed!

When Parcells saw that the kicker was doing terribly in practice and in the pre game, and still put the game in his fate.

YES....we got screwed...just like in what...1983 or 84...Detriot had 12 men on the field when the winning FG was kicked and we lost!!!!

Just like in the "Catch" game against the 49'ers...Montana ran out of the end zone with the football in his hands with time on the clock!!!

Ohhhh, wait...the game is over and it doesn't really matter anymore...sorry. Please carry on.

I could have sworn there were 2 seconds left on the clock not that it would have mattered.

We were screwed when the offense couldn't produce a touchdown with first and goal twice inside the ten yard line.

No, we were screwed the whole game because BP and Sean played it 'close to the vest' instead of letting our O play like they did in the Iggles game. We could and should have been well over 14 pts ahead at that point. But instead, run run run punt... geez, open it up will ya?
