Neild injury update
Senior nose tackle Chris Neild injured his hamstring against Pitt Friday and missed the latter portion of the game. He should play for the Mountaineers Saturday against Rutgers.

"He will play unless something totally jumps out at us," Stewart said. "We would not be as solid in the middle [if he did not play]. He is the best interior lineman in this league, and I think in this part of the country, maybe all the country. Chris Neild is turning heads all over America."

Neild, who is considered an NFL draft prospect, doesn't need to convince Stewart that he will play at the next level.

"Just watch what he does when he finishes his career here," Stewart said.

Chris Neild might be one of the most underappreciated players in the Big East. At least outside of Morgantown.

The West Virginia senior might have had only 35 tackles and no sacks last season, but numbers can't begin to define how valuable he is. Neild is the Big East's best nose tackle and a key to the Mountaineers' 3-3-5 defensive scheme.

Neild has to take on blockers in the middle in order for that scheme to work. And the 6-foot-2, 301-pounder does that to perfection.

"I've just got to do my job and do what I do to free up the linebackers," he said. "I've got to be at the right place at the right moment. That could be occupying two guys or even three guys."

now this what a NT should look like

thanks for the info buddy, i find some draft prospects and post what i find, helps out a great deal when some of you zoners post other info on the players, so we all as cowboys fans might know more about the player if any good or not, so if cowboys draft that player we have data info on the player
;)

I like short NTs. He needs a little more weight. If he could get up to 310 or so it woulld be really good.
