Westbrook is the key. If you are the DC how would you try to shut him down?

Yes, men, there ought to be all-nighters at Jerra's basement of his hotel penthouse.

Yea, there should be a defensive summit goin' now at Valley Ranchettes. The braintrust of Jerra, Wade and Stew, such as that may be, will be targeting in on target numero uno, el mas macho, el mero-mero, el chingon of the Eagles.

And that is Brian Westbrook.
Neutralize that great player and the game is ours!

Yes, ourn, because we just need one game, and the Eagles will not win without their spark plug, there faulty grammar, their metaphorical frailties, their security blanket that is Westbrook.
I don't care iffin the whole damn lot of the LBs have to zero on him. Just git er done, Jerra. Shut Westbrook down, man!!!!!

If the Commanders can beat the eagles than I am pretty sure that we can win this one easily. I agree that our key to winning is to shut down westbrook and score points on offense.

Tape his legs together at the ankles.

Seriously, I would spy him like the Commanders did. We've beaten them before, so I'm sure we know how to deal with him.

Its always about matchups. It doesnt matter that the Skins just beat them.

How many times have we lose to Philly only to have them play the Giants the next week and the Giants beat them like a Tommy Lee drum set?

We have to sell out the run and keep a spy on Westbrook.

Oh yeah.... he is hurting... so lets hit him EXTRA hard.

Spy Westbrook.

Continue to bring the kind of pressure we have been recently.

Run alot of draws and screens to counter their blitzes.

Put Newman on him no matter where he goes on the field. Have our best take out their best and then let the rest of the D take care of the rest of their O.

Introduce Kevin Burnett to Westbrook and tell him his job depends on Westbrook's performance.

My christmas wish (besides peace on earth) is for the Philly trainers to keep Westbrook out of the game.

Agreed...Burnett should see a lot of plays. Take away the run and Westy and I like our chances.

I sneak into the Eagles locker room well before the game and put liquid heat in Westbrook's jockstrap. :D

With a Louie. :laugh2:

a bazooka, tank, a few smart-bombs maybe... :p

Spy him.

Also getting pressure on McNabb will do wonders, like making him throw INT's.

The key to this game for the Cowboys will be to not only get a pass rush on McNabb but also get him to the ground. If we do that, we'll be OK.

Oh and the Eagles will surely test us deep a few times, so our DBs, particularly Henry, need to be ready.
