Western Kentucky QB Bailey Zappe

This QB had a 5, 967 yards, 62 TD pass season, yep, both college records for all levels.

I confess, he was a....who?...to me.

Curious how the NFL will perceive him.

Zappe is very similar to Baker Mayfield but they are/were on opposite ends of the hype train.

6'1" and 230. He's strong and deceptively athletic having run the 4x100 in high school.
He is whip smart and reads defenses at the line.

Zappe is a really good prospect you'd love to steal in round 4 or so.
He does not have a cannon but he makes all the throws with good accuracy.
He's not Pat Mahomes with balance and playmaking but he is very very capable of leading NFL offenses.

He torched a weak P5 Texas Tech defense a couple years ago but did so with non-scholarship players around him.
He then moved on with Kittley and shined at WKU.
