Yes we loss this game to Philly, it's not the end of the world. I've never heard of a season being over in the NFL based on the first game. Players/teams all around the NFL are looking good, but it was just the first week. We've had some guys that didn't look too good, hey, it's just the first game. Let's see what our guys can do in game 2, and going forward before we count them out. I understand there's some frustration into it, that's fine and it's your opinion (nothing wrong with that). All i'm saying is it's a long season, we've got good things coming our way!! Go Cowboys!!!

For me, this year was always an evaluation year with all the changes we had. I just need to see effort, and progress each week. If we see the team regressing, THEN we might have a hc issue. So while I want to win, it's not a deal breaker. Something is wrong if we can't beat the Giants Sunday in our place. If we go 0-2 then I'm thinking it's gonna be a long year. I just wanna see how we fight and compete.

8 carries for 11 yards. Nice. Jalen truly beat us. We’ll get them next time. But our front holding Barkley for 11 yards in crunch time of a game is massive improvement over the last 15 years. Normally this is the part of the game their offensive line bullies and punks our defensive line. Not in this game. That’s encouraging

I am calm. this was a 7-10 team and despite the close loss, its still a 7-10 team.
its not the end of the world, but some of the same issues persist.
Run defense gave up 160 yards. not good. people now argue it was only 3.3 ypc, and that we stopped the designed runs and Hurts scrambled for other ones. no difference, we focused on the run, didn't have a pass rush and couldn't contain QB running for long runs. difference is the same.

the team once again lets opportunities to win the game go right through their hands, literally. somehow this team always comes up small in big moments, fails to make big plays and lets opportunities go to waste. they just don't know how to win in these type of games. earlier in Dak's career, it seemed the opposite but last 5 years or so, its changed.

running game is still suspect at best. still an issue.

pass rush lacks.

so if we don't fix those issues, its more of the same disappointment. this teams can stay close, but mentally can't get over the hump and pushing their way to wins. we will lose to better teams. we will beat up on lesser teams.

As a team Philly had 158 yards rushing against us to go along with 3 TD's.
